if i was new to this generation of gaming, i think PSN+ would be the one to pick, but because of the time invested into my gamerscore and the 85 people i have established on XBL. i have to pick XBL, there is something to be said about creating a strong community of core gamers which is what MS did correct here.

same deal i think, the requirements might be over 20BG and the only people who will be able to play are the 60GB+ users with a broadband connection.
personally i would get FFXIV on PC anyway for mod support and performance. the only reason i got ffxi for 360 was to play when i was out of town. but i have a capable laptop now so i don't take the 360 on the road anymore.
lol, you should research shit before you plan to discuss it. FFXI required you to install the game to the 360HDD to play it. it said this clearly on the game packaging; "Hdd Required to play". the only reason the disc was needed for play was to stream the sound track.

agreed, i don't use my ps3 as a media hub, there is no real reason to upgrade to a 500GB drive beyond its current 120GB, but my 250GB 360 has been filling up fast due to full game installs.

in 06 it was the choice of a 360 or a laptop so i could play FFXI while i was away at work for a few months. none of those reasons would really attract me back then... or today.
agreed, 3d is being pushed to early, people are still switching over to HD tv's from their SD sets. it has gone from SD-->HD-->3D all in one generation. Should have waited for next console so it has enough juice to do the visuals justice. Our consoles have enough trouble doing 1080p@60fps now, 3D will only degrade the quality developers have managed to squeeze out of hardware so far...
