You're wrong. Cinematic 1080P still has something like 40% MORE pixels horizontally than an 800P image would.
Also, those 800 pixels vertically are more dense than an 800P image would have them, so the image quality and clarity is far higher than what an 800P image would ever be.
The PS4 has been being manufactured for 2 months or more, it's logical to think that Sony was working on features and optimizations in the meantime and that those fixes aren't going to be already installed on the consoles that have been sitting on a pallet somewhere.
Now that you're looking at it? There have been pictures all over the web for 8 months...
Anyway, I don't feel either analog design is more comfortable than the other, I prefer the Dualshock for other reasons though.
It could if that's the only game somebody was looking forward to at launch. I was most interested in Watch Dogs personally, and am not really excited about any other games, but I am excited for the PS4 so I'll get one at launch regardless.
I think Xbone's launch games look more boring personally, but I guess there's a possibility of this not effecting it as much.
BOOOOOOoooooo
Not that I planned on getting an Xbox ONE, but all I know is that if MS plans on capturing data from me for marketing purposes, they'd better be paying me.
I have no intention of buying an Xbone, and I have 2 PS4's on preorder, but honestly I can't see the difference between the 150k and 85k models. Maybe if someone pointed it out to me or I had a better monitor I could see it but I think there's a point of diminishing returns around that point where other methods and tools make are more useful in making the game look better.
Looks aside, I still think Ryse combat and gameplay look dull as ever.
Lol, oh well.
I figure even with minimum enhancements we could get better framerate and textures on next-gen.
I certainly hope From ends up doing it, I'd prefer to buy games for next gen over current gen systems.
This was one of my most anticipated next-gen games, after this I'm no longer interested in it :(
..so was I, heh. Remote play is done by the PS4 hardware, the only thing developers need to do is supply a control scheme for the Vita.
Yeah, he should have been happy with the feather in his cap on his resume. Next time somebody wants an internship with Sony, they'll just be like, "nah, we don't need to be paying for your inexperienced work."
Looks incredible so far. I really appreciate that a lot of the fan feedback seems to have been taken to heart by the developers also.
Bubble up for Synbios!
I agree. Ryse definitely looks great and is certainly cinematic with a lot going on, but the gameplay itself looks about as boring as it could possible be. Raise your shield a few times, a few QTE's, and you win. Fun...
@beast Exactly my thoughts.
Destiny was my guess as well.
Ryse looked incredibly boring and generic to me gameplay wise, definitely not something that I would get excited about or sell me on a system.
Edit: @ Ausbo: I agree, I think the Division was the best looking and most interesting game shown.
I'm getting a PS4, not an XBOX, but nothing wrong with being a patriot.
