Are you sure you're a fan boy? That was an awfully logical conclusion.

In fact, he can “get” all of the game’s women if he wanted to. Rucinski told me it was possible to have sex with all the females, and that the sex scenes were similar to how “Mass Effect” treated its intimate moments. But he was quick to assure me that, “It’s a mature game, it’s not [adults only].”

From the article. I liked the way Mass Effect handled it.

Really? What's your gamertag?

Yeah, I know they will eventually announce a new game. But not for the year of 2008. That's what the article says. The article is not misleading.

This is a problem for the Wii because it has a crippling shortage of good games and there is no relief in sight.

"You have seen the extent of Nintendo's 2008 holiday lineup,"

That sounds pretty much like what the article promises. I suppose they could release something new in September or October. But why wouldn't they announce that at E3? You need a few months to raise public awareness.

I think this article would be brilliant if it were written five months from now. Unfortunately, it's mostly conjecture presented as fact.

This sounds cynical, but think of all the hits that article would generate if it became controversial. More money for Microsoft. An unorthodox method of hyping a game, that's to be sure.

The only shockers were Battlefield 2 and Too Human. The rest were demos of terrible games. I'm surprised Army of Two didn't make it. A demo which forces you to play it co-op defeats the purpose of trying it out on your own terms.

Ya know, I'm noticing a trend for bad demos to follow games with "Two" in the title (or one of its homonyms).

You know when it would've been good to talk about this? At E3. Nintendo once again threatens to be a day late and a dollar short.

We can pinpoint the moment Soul Calibur 4 jumped the shark.

Once again, the Wii is a day late, and a dollar short. Just like with Rock Band

Yes that's right. People who have different opinions than you are dumbasses. They should be shunned and belittled at all times. /sarcasm

Wow, I never thought I'd see Murfreesboro listed on this website. I'll have to try this place out when its finally built.

At the end of the article, there is a caveat about that. They said that the Metacritic was bad about organizing games by genre and the author used common sense to determine what did and did not belong (for instance, Halo and CoD 4 as TPS and FPS). Still, it would've been nice to have him list what games were in the top 5 he counted.

Now everyone is a winner! Yay!

Yeah, in the end, personal preference dictates what YOU think is the best game library. However, for the point of trying to develop a consensus of which is the best library, using the average of the opinion of all the insiders and connoisseurs is not a bad plan.

6426d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Why would you count the whole library when even enthusiasts of a genre are unlikely to buy more than 5 games of a certain type (that's $300)? Also, the data for all the games in the genre is available in the graphs too.

Well, it's good Dyack likes working with the 360 since that is what he's been doing for three years.

They didn't win Adventure. The Wii did. The PS3 finished in second. And as for racing, the numbers don't lie.

Yes, that's right. Everyone is out to get you and your video game system. It's a vast conspiracy. /sarcasm
