I'm not planning on doing very much downloading.
Installing, maybe. I'll be downloading some indies just because they won't be on disc.
If you can install a game to the HDD while playing I'll do that at times but there will be hard copies, many hard copies, game boxes, on my shelf, many hard copies, discs, in the PS4 section, on my shelf, did I mention hard copies?

It's slim enough for me as it is. I'm not going to be stacking devices on top of it any time soon as my TV stand has a little growing room. I guess you could put your superslim PS3 on top of it & save a space on your stand.

Your right about DLC. I quit buying it for most games.
I have to say though, I'd rather have DLC than higher game prices even if they're announcing it before the game's released.
Sounds good. I'm pretty much coming in fresh to the series with Black Flag. Do I need to do some reading or YouTube watching to get into the story or can I just jump in with Black Flag?
Also, how parkour heavy is Black Flag? This is the main reason I never could get into the series. I don't mind some climbing & platforming but running amuck on rooftops most of the game isn't my style.
I have decided that this is the one game I'm getting launch day.
My impression of this game is that the story isn't interesting & it looks to have some feminist undertones.
I could be wrong but from what I've seen, that's the impression it leaves. Not a good impression for me personally.
Why would I buy a story game with a story I don't care for plus a feminist slant? I think not.

If it doesn't dip below 30fps & there's no screen tear I'll be fine. If it's something like a 2d platformer then it should be 60fps.

Indie or not, this is one of my most anticipated PS4 games along with many retail games coming in 2014.
I've never been a fan of the series but I keep coming back to look at Black Flag for a launch day pick up.
I don't know if it's the pirates, the beautiful gameplay or the ship battles. IDK, maybe I'm just getting sucked into the hype. The more I look at it & think about it, the more I see myself playing it. I'm only getting one launch game. There's a lot coming next year I'm more interested in.

I'll buy the hard copy, open it, smell it & play it from the disc or install it & play. I cherish this option. Sad to say that many don't.

I'm glad to hear that others enjoy physical discs as much as I do. I don't know why anyone wants to see digital only. I hope physical game discs stay around even for PS5 & Xtwo. I don't mean just as a delivery method to your HDD. I'm talking playable from the disc with option to install.
