EA, they never show gameplay. Well, they show it but they zoom way in on the players. Let's see what it looks like, ya know, when your actually playing.
These camera gimmicks are a waste of development time & money.
The only thing good for gaming & potential for these things is using it with VR. When we get the VR headset for PS4 then I might consider a camera. That's the only scenario to see these things as an actual gaming peripheral & a must have option.

I never could get into the AC games. Black flag could possibly pull me in. There's no way I'm buying it new though. I would bet this will be one of the first PS4 games to hit PS+.

I never play online multiplayer & I got plus 4 months ago.
I play some of the PS3 & PSP games they add. I'd say it's probably worth it if you play a lot of the games added to plus. They do need to add new avatars & themes once in awhile.
If you don't buy many games per year & you will play the plus games then it's definitely worth it, especially at $40.

Unless you enjoy researching, tweaking & upgrading, PC gaming is a hassle. At times it can be a pain in the rear.
Console only gamers are just that. They don't care about PC hardware. Sure, they may see a game they would like to play that is on PC but it doesn't phase them much.
I'd say most of them have a different mindset too. They expect & want disc games, for good reason. They aren't trained in the way of digital only & I love that.

I mean, I was getting a PS4 regardless but it's nice to have all the features I like.
So, do we know if PS4 is using a traditional 2.5" HDD or a SSHD? I was planning on waiting & seeing what was inside the PS4 before buying one but if I missed the announcement please fill me in so I can go ahead & purchase a 1TB right before launch.

They're targeting the living room so it would make sense. I don't know much about Linux as I have never used it.

From what I've read about steamOS, which isn't much, you will be using it to stream steam games that actually run on your PC rig. So, it's a stream box for your PC games on your HDTV.
Correct me if I'm wrong here but if this is what it is, I think a lot of people would like one if priced low. You could leave your PC connected at the desk & have this thing for the big screen.
I don't like that it doesn't play CDs. I know they want you to buy into music unlimited but come on.

That would be so awesome but given the small size of the PS4, I'm assuming 2.5" is stock HDD. I would love to see 3.5" though.
Not that great if they're charging sales tax. Intead of saving $12 per game, you'll save $8 per game. So you pay about $52 per game.
If I could've got the $12 off I would have preordered all the ones I'm looking forward to. Eight bucks savings but idk. Not enough to get me to preorder & wait till the end of the month for it to show up.

If the game ends up sucking at least you can get some cash or credit out of it. All you can do with your digi download is delete it.
