Never was happy with the 360 controller. I always modified the d-pad to make it more usable. I like the location of the d-pad better on Playstation controllers. I also am not a fan of the left stick placement on the 360 pad. I've got short thumbs :)

Packaging is important. Any blu ray movie I buy that has, what I call, wagon wheel cut outs. I swap the case with a solid plastic one. I bought a big box of good cases on eBay. So, for me, if it's going in my collection the case is important as is the sleeve.
If games have no booklet I'm still going to buy physical
copies :) There were a few games were the manual was printed on the inside of the sleeve. When you opened the box you could see it through the translucent case. I wonder if they're going that route.
So these are basically blu ray cases?

So basically it's linked to your account & no one else in your family can play it on their PS4 if your playing something on yours. This is essentially requiring you to buy the game if you want to play. No more loaning.

A hundred bucks is a hundred bucks. Now if I wanted a Xbone, that wouldn't stop me from getting one but I do like the $400 price. I'm not buying an extra controller at launch. I preordered at gamestop the other day because of those pistols but mainly because of the freakin killer black sails.
I looked at all the preorders & while I did like the outfit you get with amazon, I decided on the pistols & the black sails.

I picked up my first day 1 console, the 360 at a midnight launch at GameStop. It was a fun & memorable experience. Brought it home, stayed up all night.I'm doing it again with the PS4. GameStop said they may have cops there this time. Not a bad idea.
These launch games aren't going to mean a whole lot next year when the more exciting games start landing. That said, there's some pretty decent stuff to play till the must haves arrive.
I'm somewhat curious how it will look & run on the WiiU in comparison to PS4.
I think they got the controller nailed down good.
The only thing I could think of they could have done is basically combine the DS4 & move controller. A DS4 with move functionality if you will. The controller could detach in the middle breaking away into two pieces, having the L part of the controller in the left hand & the R part in the right. This would allow you to play more comfortably as well as play motion games. Reattach for traditional gaming.
