Why is everyone so focused on what the Pro doesn't have or what the Pro isn't?
It's an optional upgrade for your games no matter what TV you own.
It didn't & still doesn't need a 4k BD player.
Awesome comment from Pachter. Love it :)
I think we are still in very early 4k transition period.
If you're a big movie fan that has made the jump or soon will make the jump to 4k then you probably already have or will soon have a stand alone 4k player. I think many thought they were going to get a PS4 Pro & have the gaming features & the 4k BD playback for a cheap price. I don't think these same people will opt for a xbox one S that is an entry level 4k player that lacks the newer audio codecs. It will be a...
I didn't mind the simplicity of it as I knew I was in for the story. I enjoyed it. It had a good story. I thought the first half of the game could have been done a bit better but I thought the final half was solid. I paid $16 PS plus price & wasn't disappointed. I liked both endings & I'm going to go back through to collect the few things I missed in the first playthrough.
I gave Destiny a chance twice but after The Taken King I walked. I'm not dropping another dime on a game I wish was different than it is. Whether it be only 3 person fireteams, the fact that I have to go outside the game to something like reddit so I can find others to organize a raid or just the repetitive nature of the game. Playing through everything in a relatively short period of time with nothing new to see or do killed it for me. The game just leaves too much to be desired in nea...
Thanks for the input. I decided to go with The Bunker today & wait for the possible Esther/Rapture disc release.
Disc or digi?
I do hope they can work this out. I don't need mods but it would be nice to have once I replay the game.
Any better than the Gold wireless headset?
As joeorc said...
"[Considering it's SONY who cancelled mod support, speak with your wallet toward them.]
On a game IP that Sony does not own?
It's Bethesda that cancelled it, not Sony..but yet here we are..blaming the company that does not own the IP, but yet is the one who is to blame for all the implied promise that Bethesda stated..not Sony..but sure thing ..go right ahead blame away.

I'm one that doesn't care. I don't have a 4k TV or 4k BDs & don't plan to adopt anything 4k any time soon though I do buy BDs regularly. That said, it is a bit weird that Sony didn't include it in the PRO. In addition, with everyone calling it PS4K, there came an expectation of 4k BD playback which added to a dissatisfaction for some 4k BD fans and those holding out for a 4k player.
I'm assuming there will be a PS5 which will mark a new console generation. I like the idea of upgraded systems mid cycle & forward/backward compatibility for as long as possible. I still will look at it generationally with PS5 marking the beginning of a new one along with backward/forward compatibility if that's what happens.
My question is, will the pro extend out the generation?
Is it going to postpone the PS5 or will we see a PS5 around 2018?
I can get on the PS Store on Vita but cannot bring up my friends list.
No store or friends list will load on PS4.
He's got my vote but he can't solve the problem of our society.
Do people really believe that we can achive a utopia where everyone lives out their lives unscathed?
Horrible things happen to people of every race.
Welcome to a fallen world.
I started plaYing Rebel Galaxy yesterday. It may be able to fill the void of NMS for a week.
Looking forward to Furi. Already bought Gat out of Hell & just purchased SR IV Re elected.
Indies are where most innovation is happening & No Man's Sky is my most anticipated game.
Indies are where it's at right now. AAA means same ol shite most of the time. I am interested in Deus Ex MD, Nier Automata, Skyrim SE & GR Wildlands but there are just as many indies I want to play if not more. I would like to play Salt & Sanctuary, Titan Souls, Hyper Light...
I'm still waiting for console games to hit 1080p & 60 frames standard. I really can't be bothered with 4k resolution right now. I'm happy with my 1080p plasma & modest HT audio set up.
HDR is interesting & the OLEDs.
The specs haven't even been announced yet. Just a confirmation that it exists.
Your really making an article about 5 reasons to upgrade when it hasn't been unveiled yet?
When the NEO is officially revealed & I discover what the actual benefits will be then I can make a decision.
I need a "good" Tron game for PSVR. Seems like a perfect match.
