Bioware is stuck in a rut they need to get out of if they're making a SW game.
I can't see this console cycle lasting 6 years. It might last 5 though. I wouldn't be surprised if MS announces the XB2 next year for a 2018 release. I think they'll want to out of the gate first for the next generation.
Really? It is my most anticipated game & I don't think I'll be disappointed. If I am, oh well, there will be other games but I specifically want No Man's Sky to explore that particular galaxy, farm resources & maybe engage in a skirmish or two. At the very least I will enjoy the art & the music. I have to say that what they are doing with this game greatly appeals to me personally. It's right up my alley, it's in my wheel house so to speak. I wanted this game l...
@Ensignhiro My games aren't affected by PSN as I buy mostly physical single player games. For multiplayer focused gamers it is a much bigger deal. I can understand that.
@Welly UK Steam, PSN, XBL, doesn't matter. None of them are where they should be. Steam should be the best, they've been doing it longer but it still isn't great either. Praising Steam won't make it any better :) It's still just glorified DRM.
Your so glad because Steam is rock solid & never has issues.... LOL.
Sounds like it's a lot more suggestive than it is revealing.
I thought it's been obvious from the start.
It does bring out the Kid in me. Star Wars does that anyway. It's a bit like playing with SW toys except your playing with them on screen. The more you can tap into your childhood mindset the more you will enjoy it.
If you haven't bought the game yet I'd shop around for a SW starter set for a good price. Collecting playsets, the figures you'll want & power discs can add up real quick. The playsets aren't very long either. I don't play in the toy box so I ma...
I was rocking it for many hours until I started getting horrible framerate issues (PS4). Slow motion type drops that made it unplayable. That's when I stopped but I definitely want to dive back in if they have fixed it.
This game kinda of needed an open world setting & I love the driving aspect & how the car is your mobile fortress. You can get out & fight but the car is your tank. I love the setting & I think they nailed the Mad Max setting.
I just completed the playset yesterday & I did enjoy it. I played primarily as Rey but I did try Fin, Poe & Kylo Ren.
I had fun playing it & while I did enjoy it I couldn't help but wish I had a more realistc, big AAA game in the same setting.
The game froze up a few times on PS4 which required a relaunch & the in game menus could definitely be snappier. The same old camera issues, vehicle wackiness, frustrating platforming & lame side missions that'...
Your loss I guess.
I was referring to the PS4 version since that's what I'll be playing it on.
This may very well be my last console cycle. Too many things adding up to a horrible gaming future.
I mean, you know it's getting bad when everyone was just happy to get a console that resembled a game console instead of the MS future they tried to impose.
Here's a few grievances I have about the current state of affairs.
#1- Reliance on internet to play games.
This is a big one. I understand that to play online you must have internet but no...
MS did.
I think VR will be cool but I'm definitely going the wait n see route.
#1- I'm not investing a large amount hoping for the best.
#2- I can't imagine anyone but the extreme gamer buying into it.
#3- With a digital future looming (in many cases already showing it's ugly head) I'll be making more careful choices with games, not taking huge risks.
My list of most wanted games for 2016 in order & not set in stone :)...
#1- No Man's Sky
#2- Nier Autoamta
#3- Deus Ex Mankind Divided
#6- FF XV
#7- Persona 5
#8- Uncharted 4
#9- Ratchet & Clank
#10- Sword Coast Legends
What about Hyper Light Drifter & FF 7 Remake? Any word on when they will arrive?
Internet reliance for games is bringing all kinds of suckage to consoles. The only reliance at all should be online MP/co-op play & leaderboards.
That's it.
At least we still have Table Top Games, Blu Ray Movies/shows, Books, Comics & Music Cds that don't require an internet connection.
Just because everyone wants a digital future doesn't mean it's the best way forward. Actually it's probably the worst choice & more backward than forward.
I put a 1TB in mine on release day.
1TB is plenty for me. I don't have any problems with storage space.
I buy primarily physical though & I delete the game when I finish & don't plan to go back for a long time.
