Yeah, the completionist in you will have a blast here because there are tons of collectibles and story collectibles in this. Just rushing through the story took me 6-8 hours.
They really do need to try something different. I'm not even surprised when they show the box art anymore.
MW3 dissapointed me beyond belief, but I have total faith in Treyarch. They usually spice things up a fair amount.
I'm sorry, but I'm very excited for this. Call me a fanboy if you will, but this looks like pure fun. So what if everything is blowing up? A little bit of mindless fun never hurt anyone! I want to see some more of old Mason though!
I find the period in the title incredibly distracting.
@MightyPatapon I guess one could argue that there is ,as you said, a "signature look" but I don't think its so overbearing that it is something we should complain about. I personally don't think there is any visual connection, but maybe some do.
Not really. The art style has nothing to do with the engine, if there is any trend in "looks" it's a problem with the industry, not Unreal.
Lend me your time machine please.
Is this on the US store as well?
EXCEPT that the first person view actually added to the gameplay and immersion and Bethesda the developer, who has no involvement in Dishonored, has the bad track record.
You aren't even half way through the game yet. Think the golden cat is mission 3-4 out of 9.
So instead of naming the article something like "Overhype may hurt Dishonored" he goes and names it something that will get people riled up and then admits in the first paragraph that he is always dishonest and sensationalist. This is why nobody takes gaming journalism seriously. Because "journalists" act like little attention seeking kids sometimes.
This is very frustrating because Dishonored is such a good game, but many people are too ignorant to realize that Bethesda is publishing, not developing it.
I don't think he understands the difference between a reference and a coincidence.
No you were thinking of what a clusterf*** Bethesda's engines have been on PS3. I think it has less to do with the studio and series and more to do with the tech it's built on.
This guy is kinda being a jackass in the Q&A section. I honestly don't think he'll be able to get rid of this as one big sale,
Alright, I'm sold. This game looks awesome, and to all the people who are bashing this game, get over it. It's a different take on DMC and it actually looks very good.
So I signed up, entered my DOB, social security number, address, color of my hair, mothers maiden name and what I had for breakfast yesterday. When do I get my money??
I have a feeling the end of the first season will lead to a BC3 announcement.
Oh come on... For realz? (See what I did there?)
