You know, after beating inFamous I was pretty much done with it. Good sequel or not, I think I'm good with these gameplay mechanics and style for quite a while. Don't get me wrong. Agreed. I never got this idea of, "you are more experienced now, so let's give you even more advantages over the other new players. How about a weapon that makes them even easier to kill?" With WH it's even steven all the way. You learn as you go and as there is soooo much to master. Many of us had to start without the training levels and that was like leading sheep to slaughter. It was brutal but, so worth it.
I'd have to say the same. With as many hours as I have put into Warhawk no other game has captivated me like this. The near misses and narrow escapes make the hair on your neck stand up, if not make you stand up. So gratifying too.

Yeah, Pirates OTC AWE was another wonderous title. The 2 player "feature" made that game melt into unplayable sea sludge, not that the single player was much better. The game was advertised as being full of interactive environments, thoughtfull and engaging battles and cutting edge physics....so was Gauntlet like.....25 years ago?
LL Larry is probably the worst gaming has had to offer in recent years. I knew it was bad before release, but I still got it just to see how bad it could get. I like to collect bad games too as they are always great source material for what NOT to do when making a game (like Haven call of the king...blaggggh!)

The strategy elements in this game rock. BS2 is a very worthy sequel.

Whatever, self critiquing. Bioshock is spectacular. They will say the same thing later after they finish Infinite. Coulda, woulda, shoulda....Bioshock is certainly not built on indecision and incompletion.
Can't wait for Infinite. I can already see myself getting pwned by the ai, because I was gawking at the vistas.

I was in TRU yesterday. I was going to get Fear 3 (which they had in hand) and LA Noire. I was being rung up when they noticed that Fear 3 was not at the street release date yet (hell I did not know it was not released yet, just thought timing was good).
I went back this morning to go pick up this great deal and there was a new flyer in the section saying that the "deal" was a misprint. It is supposed to be buy two of the games on the list and get a 50 dollar gift ...
