Well, it's nice to have an update before the next DLC releases. Usually, it's the other way around.
gold-plating anything is absurd, let alone an old game console that no-one plays with anymore.

I don't think there are any game films that fans are really asking for. Yet, here they are!
Personally, when there is a bad movie based on a game, I have a hard time wanting to play that game series again or at least for a while. The Resident Evil movies (despite being way off course and not too great either) and Doom are the only game movies that didn't do that to me. Matter of fact, I just pre-ordered Doom and would likely watch that movie again, haha.
Fatness awaits.
I for one am not looking forward to VR based on the fact that some game developers may end up pushing great titles out the way in favor of getting into VR.
I'm sure it will do fine either way, but to me it's a bit of a nuisance. This generation is still in dire need of games and here comes VR...not exactly great timing.
This game dropped like a rock off of my friends playlist. I don't think new maps will entice anyone who left to come back. This game has serious lack of content issues.
The N64 was a bit better IMO. It was such a great console for it's time!
It's quite clear that they decided to have THE WORST sale ever because of what Games With Gold is throwing out this month.

Well, Halo 5 probably is the biggest exclusive. Then maybe Forza and once Gears 4 comes out then that will be. Tomb Raider 2 could fit in there partially somewhere I guess too...despite it being available on Windows.
Personally, nothing on Sony's side interests me except for The Last of Us. It's quite clear that is their flagship title.
Who the hell buys Doom for the multiplayer?
Aside from the campaign, I have only some interest in Doom's SnapMap editor. The multiplayer, while cool to have...is never going to be expected to topple any of the modern FPS games. Hence, why it's so fast and Quake/Unreal Tournament-like.
All of these .5's and half-breed consoles aren't worthy of being introduced and actually would harm the console cycles. If MS and PS go full Apple and release a minuscule new model each year with a small variance in tech we could see games being pushed back at a further rate of development in favor of squeezing out a little more for the .5 models.
Plus, this defeats the purpose of ever buying a console if there is another slightly better model inevitably coming out do...
I agree...ME3 felt the best, ME2 was my favorite game in the series, but ME1 was the golden child of the series. It felt the most like a space opera and the reboot/non-sequel is going to be a great addition to the series.
If they release another future installment, I think the next game will go down as bad as Ghosts personally. It will likely be a few installments before the franchise sinks for good. Yet, I'm sure they don't know how to go back into one of the war eras or the modern era at this point.
I don't see the point of a newer, more powerful console that isn't the PS5. Sony is effectively deciding to speed up their console cycles in almost an Apple/iPhone-like manner.
Ubisoft games are always bland and repetitive, yet hyped to no extreme.
Some of the early Metal Gear games have cut-scenes of similar length and I don't hear anyone giving a damn.

I like the cast for his game. None of them feel out of place.
