Sony's exclusive content is one reason that I can't force my self into supporting this game. I get it's all about sales, but Bungie used to be all about the fans. Once again, content is being withheld for those who own the same game on a different console. All of the MS exclusives were at least reasonably timed (not over a year or so), and primarily were based around COD DLC packs...There's a difference here as this game has much more of a social aspect to it.
Online co-op only...Horrible idea.
E3 this year is so off it's not even funny. What has happened to the gaming industry? Looks like they're spending too much time on VR and console upgrades rather than creating interesting games or games that gamers actually want. Bethesda had an awful conference. Creation Club is basically a paid mods model for games that are at least two years old....WTF!
MS, EA also had sub-par shows....just wow. I really hope the industry wakes up.
There hasn'...
Phil said a few years ago that the focus was going to be on games, and that's what we keep hearing. Hopefully, E3 this year will change things.
I've only had a few technical issues on console so far. Maybe I haven't been paying attention too much as there's a lot going on in-game. I think a lot of the problems could be resolved with a patch, but that only adds to the don't release it before it's ready argument.
I'm all for a new engine, but I don't think Frostbite works as well with third-person games as it does in FPS games. Unreal would have been preferred, but I'm still enjoying this game quite a lot actually.
I'm actually starting to enjoy it. It's not perfect and I have my fair share of issues with it, but I think some people are being overly critical of it. Gamers and gaming critics really no how to suck the fun out of the room.
He invested 15+ hours into a game for it, so he likely spent more than $50, but I like the fact that he's calling out bluffs at these places.
Personally, I think too much time is being spent developing and focusing on hardware. You need games for a game console. That's all there is to it.
Mass Effect already offers any player the role to be with any sex they choose, even aliens, so technically, they already achieved what they set out to do. It's not offensive to me, but after seeing this in virtually every franchise nowadays, it's starting to grow old. It always takes me out of the scene and feels very forced.
I'm skipping this and spending that money on ME: Andromeda.
His thumb is actually half car key to his '95 Volkswagen.
Seems like this game has become a what's behind door number 1 or 2 simulator. I get that they want to bring fear back, but it's gimmicky in this state. Hide, open doors, crawl, duck, little to no fighting. This could have just been a new IP and done just as well, if not better.
This would have made much more sense as DLC...even though the concept itself is absurd in the MGS universe.
Only on ESPN 8 The Ocho
Snake....Snakeee....Sna- Oh, he's not in this one.
I thought it was fun. I'm torn on buying it though. For now, I went for BF4 for the $5 sale instead...I figured all of the DLC maps are free, so why not.
I'm way too far behind and there's been at least 3 packs since then. I just simply don't have the time.
Clearly, he has marbles in his mouth.
Why not just release the entire library, make a ton of consoles and rake in the cash? I'm sick of this 'limited supply' b.s.
There's almost no point in looking when most people will be selling them for double-triple the price.
