Tried the beta, played the actual game and still don't like it. Kudos to those that will enjoy this, but it's not for me.
But in the end, you only get 6 missions. So, yes, it is the episodic run that is creating the issue with this game. All other Hitman games had 10+ missions. The episodic run is what is allowing them to get away with this b.s.
It's agonizing. What a stupid idea to release them like this.
What is the point of being online in a SP game? This game sounds like it was horribly executed. From the streams I've seen playing it, it's just a massive map with Absolution-like contracts. I was really hoping this Hitman was going to change things, but they focused on the ridiculous episodic release instead. UGH!
If they make a Half-life movie before Half-life 3, you can kiss goodbye to Gordon Freeman.
Game movies seem to literally kill game franchises.
He only means that in the point-of-view sense it's similar...Not actual inspiration with the games themselves.
There is no way long periods of VR will not have negative health effects.
The execution of this game wasn't as well thought through as the actual premise.
The king of all fighting games - period!
None of these games were worth running out to buy. Step up the games gaming industry!
As a fan of the Hitman series- I really don't think this game will sell as well as it would have with a full release. People are going to downright rate negatively rate this game until the full release comes out.
Homefront is on no-one's radar. Not even a close fight.
Other than the sad fact that many people lost their jobs, I really don't think much of this...I know that's terrible but maybe these people can find better studios to work for. Lionhead didn't exactly have a bright future either after Fable 2.
It could also be a really ingenious PR stunt on top of a job fair.
It should be over with at this point. Nobody is deciding which console to buy- they've already bought one!
It's greedy, arrogant and wrong on both sides to continue to operate this way and punish gamers as a whole.
So, Nukacola is now going to be Novacola? ;)
Well, given the fact that they just cancelled the remake of MGS...maybe Konami decided to do it themselves properly with the REAL Snake? :)
On second thought...Nope, probably not.
I think some of the blame could be passed on to Peter Molyneux given the last few ridiculous years of his career with them. He really left on a sour note.
Milo the tech demo...where did that even go? Fable Legends? Even Bethesda paid the price for an Elder Scrolls MMO...what made them think Fable would do any better? Especially, considering Fable 3 was the worst in the series aside from perhaps that Kinect game.
Hopefully, the team moves on to bigger and bett...
Harris is leaving the INDUSTRY, not just Bioware, so this one is really not a big deal as the others. Plus, when you have to work in Canada and you're not Canadian, I would imagine you would do anything to return to Seattle or the States if you're originally from there.
As for Mass Effect...this game isn't coming out until 2017 and it's not even mid-March yet, so there is plenty of time to release a decent game. Not sure how ME:Andromeda could end up like ME3...
Bungie is locked into Destiny for the next what 8-9 years? They are royally screwed. What fans will they have left at that point?
