This game has some definite old-school Fallout vibes.
When are they going to stop the futuristic stuff and leave that to the games that it makes sense in and that do it well already? What's next left to do after this- fight on the sun? It's absurd!
The originals were based around finding colored key cards and blasting the heads off of hell's demons, so as long as those two are there still, which they are-- I could care less about the story. We'll hopefully get bits and pieces, and I know they said something about codecs, but I'm counting on at least a cool intro and ending.
That is stellar work! If only it wasn't just for his portfolio. Although, this man deserves a job in the gaming industry- clearly.
Off topic a bit but I wouldn't mind a Prometheus game ;)
I was a bit surprised that this game didn't look too appealing graphically . It does look like nostalgic fun though.
Actually, his drug addiction goes back to around the 80's according to his dealer. Seems like he was an avid pill user and a fan of the patches too, but never anything like heroine. Apparently, he had stage freight and needed something to cope with it. Hard to believe, but sad that it's damn near a Michael Jackson death.
While I love the Arkham games, I wonder why it took them so long to decide to do this...
We need a Mass Effect enhanced trilogy next :)
I think they're very gimmicky and rarely that much fun. Plus, micro-transactions for a mobile game are just absolutely absurd! But I think if Nintendo would wise up and realize that they could make a killing if they released some of their best SNES and Gameboy titles on mobile platforms, the whole industry would change the mindset.
Developers also aren't writers, so forcing some of those guys to "create a story" is kind of like asking for a sandwich without anything but bread.
Kind of like a medieval Bioshock. Looks cool.
MK has a sense of horror and gore that Tekken, SF or any of the other games don't have and wouldn't blend well with. If anything, I'd be more interested in a Killer Instinct vs. MK game, and that would never happen.
At least there are big titles in May. It's June through August that worries me...
I want to get into this game but I feel like without combat I would get tired of the whole parkour thing. And frankly, it's great to have parkour in games, but most FPS games are doing it nowadays, despite Mirror's Edge probably being one of the first games to facilitate it into the gaming industry.
I'm ready to see the franchise retire but also curious to see if RE7 would be a significant departure from the last two games. I think the series has been crap ever since the movies came out...it seems like their main focus went from horror to action.
It would be nice if for once I could see an article that didn't say Doom was doomed because of the multiplayer hate. I get it, it's not your thing, nor mine. But this game's campaign is the real Doom experience. Wait until the final product is out before you stick a fork in the game.
Terrible name for a game...
My money is on the slim models...we get them with every iteration almost, and we're overdue for them. New consoles? We just barely tapped into our current ones.
Sure, forget what gamers want...
As someone who vehemently decided not to buy digital games up until recently, I can safely say that I'll probably never buy another game through Amazon at this point. Prime or not, limiting sales to paid subscriptions is in no way beneficial to any company. Good luck Amazon. We should see some great deals of left-over "prime-only" games for Black Friday.
I can't help but realize that this is a console for kids or parents with kids. I think that a lot of gamers are looking for more than what Nintendo's 1st party titles offer. Luigi this, Mario that, Zelda, StarFox....great games, but would you rather play those longer than the Witcher 3 or GTA V? For most gamers, probably not.
