This is the first time I've heard Redfall referred to as a live service game. I don't think it is supposed to be...?
It should be noted that it didn't do well on Steam in the first place, as the all-time peak was 1,560 players, according to Steam Charts. I'm pretty sure the majority of people that played it did so off of Game Pass. I'm not saying it's doing well over there for current playerbase, but it's important to note how it started its life on Steam already in a horrific state.
The game looks pretty dang bad, and this recent update is most definitely too little...
This is so wild and brings back a lot of memories.
I doubt it, since you are still going to be able to buy Xbox 360 games / DLC via the Xbox One.
There is no way in hell they put the cover of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 as the thumbnail for "best skateboarding games." Good Lord.
The Crew 2 leaving is a strange choice... because I thought that was part of Ubisoft Plus? Is Ubisoft Plus getting rid of it, too? I'm confused by that one, as I thought Ubisoft Plus was one of the perks of PS Plus Extra / Premium
Did you read the article...? This is about balancing the statistics of the racers, which I don't think would have any bearing on what you are talking about. Sounds like just some bad luck.
They also shut down the eShop effectively erasing hundreds of games from existence and making it infinitely more difficult and expensive to acquire many games physically for the 3DS. And their online infrastructure doesn't seem to have improved at all since they started charging money for it. They are forcing you to have an ongoing subscription to access games that were otherwise able to be bought and owned on the previous Virtual Consoles (the ownership of which is now up in the air, p...
They tried it with Labo VR. Personally, I thought it was super cool. But it failed the commercial success test.
So how does it work? Are these all available now? Or is it a rotation system? I literally only got my PS5 today and am a bit of a newb of this console generation.
A huge score for those of us that didn't just buy it literally one day ago and it's on the way now :'(
But I guess it's good to own it, as well! And I don't think I want to get PlayStation Plus right now, so it's not a huge loss. But it is still a little saddening.
I got my PS5 today, actually! Been wanting to play Rift Apart for so long. And I played Astro's Playroom at a friend's house, and that was when I was like, "I NE...
Did it inspire you to get more into Marvel at all? I know when I played Ultimate Alliance 3, I wasn't that into Marvel, but I enjoyed the heck out of it. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up seeking out lots of Marvel comics that the movies didn't touch on much yet! I was wondering if something similar happened for you after playing and falling in love with this one?
No. Dedicated handheld gaming on a large scale is no longer a thing. Yes we have the Switch, but that's a hybrid. Yes we have the Playdate, but that is so incredibly niche. As far as the big companies making dedicated handhelds, that era I think has truly died with the 3DS and PS Vita. And it makes me so sad, because handhelds are my preferred place of playing games. We have mobile phones, sure, but they do not have the same gaming experiences with handhelds (like the above) at all, ...
Is 50,000 really that good? It sounds like a pretty small number in this day and age...
Yeah it was on Epic Games Store for a while! Only just recently debuted on Steam. :)
That LEGO expansion on Forza Horizon 4 was something else. I loved it. I doubt this would bring the same sort of feeling as that, but since then I have wanted to play a modern LEGO racer! So I'm putting this on my radar if it's true.
It is probably cheaper to make one SKU and give people the option of getting one of the games than making 3 different SKUs each with their own bundled game.
Yes.
When I got over the rather bland art direction of Dead Rising 3, I actually fell in love with that one. Dead Rising 4 on the other hand.... :(
It's a real shame the Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX + Alpha DLC isn't available on PC. It was one of the best DLCs I've ever played, it was so fun! But alas... I no longer have my Xbox One :(
Okay I'm really confused by the downvotes. If you look it up, it's not a live service game in its current state, but I guess it started development as one? Still confused by the downvotes, though.
