gonna catch way too much flack for this, but i really hated DH voice anyway.way too forcefully grumpy and macho. how cliche is it that we get another ultra deep voice, scratchy throated anti-hero? always so non-believable. Ive always felt like Hayters voice was one of the few things holding back the MGS series, whos voice acting cant even come close to games such as uncharted.
too much hate toward gamestop. I mean i know theyre kind of a ridiculous company but im just glad we have a dedicated game store i can shop at when i need to.

GTA is one of the most phenomenal games i have ever played. that said, i cant believe people think its just going to blow every other sandbox game out of the water. games like saints row and sleeping dogs have a TON of advantages over GTA 4. unless were talking strictly about sales numbers, you can bet that GTA5 is going to have a whole lot of competition from other sandbox games.
any game that has an auto-aim MULTIPLAYER mechanic, needs serious work....
some of the most amazing games are on their way for the ps3/360 in the next few months.
the problem is, knowing the ps4 is coming just makes everything else totally irrelevant to my gaming life.

Hayters voice, in my eyes, was one of the only things holding back the series from becoming the most elite single player experience ive ever played.
His voice has always gotten on my nerves. far too cliche for the role he voices.
COULD NOT AGREE MORE. ive always felt that hayters voice was too cliche for MGS. always so forcefully grumpy and seemed extremely stereotypical of that "reluctant anti-hero" role. Within the MGS universe, Raidens voice actor is far better suited for his role than hayter is for snake. when i hear Raiden speak, i think "this is Raiden talking". but when i hear snake speak i think "this character has a terrible voice actor".

i know im probably going to get flamed for saying this out loud, but i actually know a gamestop manager who told sony has somehow given them the idea to safely ballpark the ps4 price at 399. ANOTHER manager at my local gamestop (who is much more believable) told me that sony is actually talking to gamestop execs to get a feel for what trade offers they will have come ps4 launch.

reception to its trailer was a little cold in comparison to other games for some reason. FOOLS I SAY! knack will be one of the best ps4 launch games, hands down. COUNT IT!
extremely important to me. kind of like the way a nice soundtrack and solid storyline are important to me. doesnt matter that those aspects dont affect gameplay....i still feel like it draws me in that much more.
there is nothing wrong with enjoying an amazing looking game.

OBVIOUSLY developers of downloadable titles and facebook games are against boxing their games. why in the world would they want or need to do that? most of their games are either free or cost no more than a dollar or 2. the only games worthy of a box are those that are upwards of 60 dollars, which are console and pc games. as the article states, this statistic excludes those titles, which is what makes it completely point...

i see waht your saying but i think how iconic a voice has become is largely irrelevant. things can become Iconic or legendary because theyve been around for a long time. snakes voice is obviously legendary because, for better or worse, its been around for like 20 years. Games like uncharted come and go. the series is no more than like 5 years old. it doesnt have nearly the amount of staying power the MGS series has.
