This game deserved every 6 out of 10 it ever got. I’ve never seen a game overstay its welcome by 10+ hours and still flub the single most important part of the story. Every bit of [A CERTAIN PART OF DAYS GONE’S STORY] felt like a rushed, deeply unsatisfying mess. I ended up uninstalling the game and just watching the endings on YouTube because It left such a bad taste in my mouth.
It feels like this franchise has been shoved in our faces every 2 years for the last decade.

People typically dont play things locked to ps3 because they dont want to deal with the clutter of multiple devices, and thats IF they’re lucky enough to have a working ps3 to begin with. To have all your games available on ps5 would be a gigantic plus. Think about all the people who still play ps4 games without even realizing it on their ps5s. I couldn’t agree more. I honestly don’t get why everyone is excited for this game. The first one was extremely basic and way too easy. As a glorified presentation of jthw dual sense controller, it was fine I guess. But as a full blown game? It was so forgettable.
We can sit here and talk about PlayStation and it’s disposition as a business all we want, but the results speak for themselves.

I personally agree. As a kid I appreciated wacky, edgy styling of games like GTA5, but over the years I’ve come to love grittier games with a slower pace. I find the writing in most GTA games is just ok, but that it does best when the narrative isn’t chock full of parodies and other jokes usually don’t make me laugh. I loved the original series when I played it as a teenager. Having revisited the games as an adult though, I felt like most of the narrative was nonsense tbh. The few moments where kratos showed remorse or restraint were so inconsistent. I remember by the 3rd game, I was really, really happy with the ending.
