it makes me sad to know that theres no room left in the world for print media these days. i remember when just a few years ago id be so excited to find a new game informer in the mail and spend the next hour reading carefully through every page.
those were the days where i wasnt wasting my time on gaming forums, shuffling through all the weak rumors and dribble of the game community. the good ol' days.
Doesnt everybody? MS just keeps on adding to the longgggg list of both passive aggressive AND extremely obvious shots fired at sony. dont you guys understand by now that talking this much trash is making you look TERRIBLE?
i get that a jokes a joke, but with all the real smack talking MS has done about sony over the past few months, i think its just a good idea for them to keep their mouths shut.
HEY gamertk. you hear about what greenberg just said about the ps4 taco bell campaign? i mean i get that its just a joke, but damn....they just keep adding to the list!!
theres no denying that this controllers going to take a lot of getting used to. one thing that worries me right off the bat is left and right movements. you can see in the video that the demonstrator slides his finger to the left (or right), stops, then picks his finger up and repeats just to make his character turn to where he needs. definitely would have rather seen the demonstrator hold down the pads to show that that works as well.
extremely turned off by this controller i...
doesnt matter how much money nintendos plummeted into the system. of course 299 isnt a bad price on its own, but in relativity to what its competition offers, its price of the wii u is too high.
with the ps4 at the price point that it is, i think a $299 tag for the wii u is a bit steep. i mean even the system memory is a dinky 32gb isnt it?
250 is reasonable. $199 is the absolute sweet spot for nintendo. would easily pick one up just for a few key titles.
never said sony keeps their mouths shut. PR people are always taking jabs at one another. where the integrity lies is in what they're actually saying about the competition.
max-zorin said it best. sony always keeps the gloves on while microsofts trying to bite off an ear.
SEE PEOPLE? THIS IS HOW YOU RESPECTFULLY ADDRESS THE COMPETITION.
i dont care who you are, its really hard to deny microsofts low blows in recent months. seems like every other day theyre coming out with these really childish (and utterly bogus) statements just to try and put sony on blast. absolutely no shame whatsoever. I mean i could think of like 3 or 4 examples off the top of my head which just involve major nelson. Cerney really does show a lot of class here on behalf o...
interesting statement for sure. Takes a lot of guts for a company to even indirectly admit that theyre facing hardship the way nintendo is. the with the 3ds's success, its almost like nintendo could just continue to act as if the problem isnt there because theyre still making some dough on the 3ds. lots of things (both good and bad) can be taken from a statement like this, but i feel like in a lot of ways this really illustrates nintendos belief in their own product. some would call it &q...
yeah well, words dont mean much considering the way so many wii u ports/versions turn out on a regular basis. lets see some gameplay before making such claims.
already got rid of for the ps4 preorder.
what kind of sick plans does valve have for us? SHARING FAMILIES? STAY AWAY FROM MY WIFE VALVE.
noobie question. will downloadable titles be able to transfer from a ps3 to a ps4? i have so many golden downloads under my username and would love to continue playing them on my ps4. I mean its just not autumn until ive played and beaten resident evil 4 for the 400th time ya know?
WOW. insane to read. take whats written in the article with a grain of salt till you try the software for yourself, but damn. disappointing to hear this was actually someones first impression.
not sure if trolling but that definitely made me LOL. anyway i just think that using the term "most in the world" implies a certain vastness that isnt really there. when i hear something is "the most powerful in the world" i picture a thing or being rising above several different counterparts and competitors outshine them all.
while the ps4 does outshine the one technically, its not like there are also 100 other different console makers the ps4 also outshines. its ...
youre insane. virtually no one in the fighting game community prefers the xbox 360 dpad over the ds3's dpad. playstations dpad is one of, if not the greatest dpad ever released. youre probably going to be inclined to scream "fanboy!!" but dude, its pretty universally accepted among fighting game enthusiasts that when it comes to dpads on consoles, playstation is the way to go.
"i guess its only good for people with fat thumbs" you ARE in fact delusion...
+1 for "xbox...two"
either way, though im not disqualifying the controller by any means, it worrys me to think how fighting games might work.
most powerful CONSOLE? gee tell us something we didnt know. i mean theres really only one comparable competitor so to use the phrase "the most powerful in the world" is pretty misleading.
there was a period during which the xbox 360 had quite a few japanese releases in an extremely short amount of time. japan didnt budge then. they wont budge during the xbox one release date either. perhaps dead risings timed exclusiveness will generate some weak fumes, but MS is just never going to win over japan.
