so true. playstation consoles have always aced out the competition in every gen theyve been apart of. these people bring up tv cable box functionality like its actually going to make a notable difference in sales? just stop. tv integration into consoles will always be a dead end if you need your freakin' cable box to be set up to the xbox. What would even be the point or benefit of setting it up to the xbox specifically? seems like its just a pointless extra step.

im really sorry, but if theres one thing MS has done right for 2 gens now, its those damn headsets. take good care of them and they actually offer surprisingly clear sound quality considering how cheap the thing is made.

awesome to hear that colors are customizable. i have absolutely no idea why a feature like that hasnt been possible since the beginning of the xbox 360 ps3 days.
i mean you don't have to give gamers the ability to change every single little thing...but A LITTLE customization aside from just a customizable menu background might be nice. that type of customization is an absolute no-brainer for phones, laptops, PCs. why not consoles?

i agree. critics say whatever about how little its changed, but i really couldnt care less cause r&c is one of the funnest experiences ive ever had in all of my gaming years. I certainly hope we see plenty more full retail r&c games exclusive to the ps4, so that insomniac can focus all its energy on next gen.

i think WAY too many people put too much enthuses on launch lineup strength. to them its not about having a great launch lineup. its about having a greatER launch lineup than the competition. as long as the brand i choose has great software from beginning to end, i couldnt care less about when that software actually comes, ya know?

seems like everything sony should have done with the ps3's ui. simple enough that it keeps its elegance, but has a ton of navigational purpose.
i only wish that they were a little more adventurous with what they have going in relativity to color and icon choices. i think that both the xboner and the ps4's ui look great in terms of functionality, but a bit more color and pop on the ps4s side would have been fantastic. not necessarily to the obnoxious level of the 360s original...

@14Feb-R, im aware, but i dont think its about how soon the date is in comparison to others. if the us release date was on in feb 2014, id be mentally ready for that date specifically. its about the date sony mentions from its announcement. regardless of how soon or far away that date actually is.

Generation after generation has followed a very specific format, with only the most recent gen breaking the cycle by having all 3 brands stay healthy. theres literally no reason to believe (based on the statistics alone) that this even more affordable coming gen will slow down for any reason.
