Of course, I don't expect everyone to have the same opinion and I can understand why people wouldn't like Halo 3. I just hope my current 360 lasts me until ODST comes out, as I have promised myself the one I have now is THE last one. By the way, is this some kind of N4G record? Reasonable comments in the open zone?
A poor comparison considering the difference in size of the PS2 and 360 user base (I mean actual 360 user base, not inflated by people purchasing multiple consoles due to horrendous hardware quality).
And please don't use the term "we", Halo 3 is one of my all time favourite games, at least online anyway.
Halo is a different style of FPS to Killzone 2, I like, and own, both. I clocked up 30 hours on Killzone 2 in the week after launch, after that? a mere 5 more hours. I'm not slating Killzone 2, it's great fun and I'm sure the upcoming DLC will get me back into it, but I have yet to find a game on the PS3 that has kept me coming back for more, day after day (provided my 360 is actually in my possession and not on it's way to get repaired -_-), like Halo 3.
No, you're not right, many of my friends who owned PS2 and PS1s now own 360s, I on the other hand had an Xbox1 but now own a PS3. A silly assumption to make.
I disagree, Lost Odyssey is easily the best classically styled JRPG of this generation (by the I mean turn based). The story line isn't the main highlight, it's the characters and their background that made it into a good game in my opinion.
I hate these HipHopGamer style headlines -_-.
Why? What happened to playing a game for the fun of it and not some stupid little virtual medal? I blame CoD4 for this silly trend. Killzone 2 is good enough to play without needing to feel like I achieved something worthless in game.
If Konami make an effort this year rather than rehashing the previous edition, then I'm willing to get this. I couldn't bring myself to buy PES 2009 as so little has been done to it over 08 whereas EA put in a massive effort to make FIFA 2009 an exceptional game.
I'm not surprised, the last Star Fox game on Gamecube was technically very good, I guess they didn't want to develop a game on such dated hardware again.
Where does this idea that British people have bad teeth come from?
1.4, yes you are wrong, it was E74 bringer, not RROD.
Do I need to bring up an interface to text chat? Or can I just use my keyboard whilst I play?
PS. I'm happy they've optimized the network to load profiles faster
Sony fanboys, don't try and make out you're happy with this after what was predicted, I'm gutted. Text Chat? Come on, it's not 1999 anymore, I was doing that back on PSO on the dreamcast -_-. And for once, I'm actually agreeing with WhyDis 0_0.
Scoring a complete game based on a poor demo is idiotic.
No.
I downloaded the demo for this game the other day to be pleasently surprised, the combat system is very good in my opinion, waiting on a PS3 version to be announced, but if nothing happens soon I will go ahead and purchase for the PC.
I understand completely, it's not a PS3/360 (delete appropriately) exclusive, therefore it instantly becomes unimpressive.
Wow 0_0
May as well jump on the bandwagon
"IGN sucks"
Hmm, can we spin this in any way to make out it's Microsofts' fault?
