With regards to offline multiplayer FPS, with there being no Timesplitters so far this gen, it must be Halo 3.

How is Uncharted underrated? It has sold over 2 million copies and received great review scores, far from underrated. Just got myself Valkyria Chronicles yesterday, getting sucked into it, incredible game with amazing visuals.
It seems the days are gone when people played games for the fun of it, rather than having to unlock virtual guns and camo.
I don't want to sound negative, but the game needs it, I have clocked up close to 40 hours game time, but feel no real need to go back. The online interface is clunky, a matchmaking system like CoD would have done wonders, instead I have to join and leave several games to find one that suits me. Why can't I view game settings before I join a game? Simple stuff that needs attending to.
Do they seriously expect me to pay for an extra difficulty level? This DLC business is getting out of hand.
Congratulations Bungie, Halo 3 and its' predecessors are all excellent games. You deserve the success recognition you receive for creating one of the greatest franchises in gaming history.

Is this yet another USA exclusive? I logged into Home for the first time in a while yesterday, as I was told about the Godfather II room, great I thought. Not so great was realising us Europeans, who have purchased more PS3s than any other region, get shafted yet again.
I don't think US citizens realise how poor the SCEE service is in comparison. I switched from a 360 to PS3 when MGS4 came out, with Microsoft, you are almost guaranteed worldwide release dates for the bigger games, whereas with the PS3 we had to wait over a month for Resistance 2 and LittleBigPlanet (A game developed on England). Don't even get me started on the PSN, it's outrageous. I just hope this new president sorts out the current disparity.

Personally any one of the Halo games, I have played each one to death, spent weeks on Halo 2 and Halo 3, Killzone 2 managed to hold my attention for just over 35 hours, good game, but greatest FPS ever? Come on...
