It will be interesting to see how they go about charging people, will it be a contract in place? Pay per play? Or the same format as DLC currently uses on Live and PSN?
This isn't solely 360 news, it's regarding the scale of announcements made at GDC, he was only using Gears of War 2 as an example.

Oh dear lord, I can't believe what I just read. Do you ever stop and think just how sad you are to align yourself to a console? If a company other than Sony offers a superior (for the sake of my comment I won't go into saying what I prefer) gaming experience, would you still stick with Sony? People should be fans of games, not consoles.
I may have misinterpreted your comment, but are you saying you don't want Microsoft to announce anything good? Bitter much? Care to elaborate?
I'm hoping for big announcements for all 3 home consoles as well as PC.
People are expecting far too much from GDC in my opinion, but Gears of War 2 was a fairly big announcement.
The people who point out the fact you can't resell the games and put a negative spin on it are those who champion downloadable PSN games like WipeoutHD, keep your double standards to yourself.
I will pass on the concept of a console created by Apple. It will be another case of style above substance and cost a small fortune.
Yes of course, don't worry about gamers in less fortunate positions than you. If you read the article you would realise this isn't meant to compete with Wii/360/PS3, it's providing a way for gamers in less wealthy areas of the world to afford games.
I disagree, Resident Evil 5 is not the best looking game on the 360. Gears of War 2 remains the best, close to the level of Killzone 2, superior textures but lacking the scale plus inferior lighting and physics. I guess that's the cue for disagrees.
The Sony fanatics only proved Solar to be dead on with his statement. Say anything negative about Killzone 2, even a fair criticism, and you will be punished. Hell hath no fury like a fanboys scorn.
Shadowflare, I can't convince you to pay full RRP for Live, but if you look around you can get a years sub for £25, which is worth it in my opinion. It's far slicker all round than PSN, it may not have dedicated servers, but the most played games don't need dedicated servers as they are small in size (CoD, Halo, Gears). Party chat is also a real nice feature. There's nothing stand out, but all round it's better.
I don't know about other people, but I don't associate my PS3 with beauty. It looks better than the 360, but I could never bring myself to declare a box of wires and silicon as beautiful.

Shadowflare, if I remember correctly they 'trash-talked' motion control regarding it's use as the only control method for the majority of games, ala Wii.
I was impressed by the detail and density of the foliage, I imagine it to be an early build though. Can't wait to see a final build of it, will be interesting to see how it compares to the PC version, but for me it already looks better than pretty much any finished console title, Gears 2 and KZ2 withstanding.
Well you could regret that decision (although I very much doubt you had a 360 in the first place) come tomorrow.
