I disagreed with you simply because there's no reason to use that word in the gamer zone, or at all to be honest.
Wow, do Insomniac ever stop?
That's somewhat insulting to the first Killzone, KnaveX.
Prey messed with my head.
I wouldn't put Killzone 2 in that category, technically it's awesome, with superb graphics, animation, physics and lighting. The gameplay however, while not poor by any means, doesn't quite hit the same heights.
The image that came into my head of Kaz Hirai actually doing that was quite amusing.
Good to see the TAR 21 there, reminds me of my days spent playing Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow.
While games are a matter of opinion, surely this subject isn't even up for debate?
A tough one, Killzone 2, even if you don't enjoy the multiplayer aspect, is well worth playing for the epic single player campaign. Also ,if you're not aware of this, Killzone 2 has just gone platinum, so can be picked up on the cheap, so maybe you can get both.
I'm not comparing SOCOM Confrontation to full retail PS2 SOCOM games by a different developer, I'm reviewing the game on its own mertis. You're implying I'm not allowed to review this game because I haven't played any of the previous iterations, which is nonsense. Also in relation to the release, I have only just started playing the game, so that's not something I can comment on.
I wish people would stop billing Halo 3 ODST as a console mover, anyone who plays and enjoys Halo is likely to already have an Xbox 360.
I tend to play sandbox games to relax, cruising round Liberty City or sneaking through the Savannah in Farcry 2, I rarely feel motivated to complete actual missions though.
I think it depends on the game, but personally I prefer a linear game experience that focuses heavily on plot and storyline.
Anyone who makes a big deal about changing discs is either:
A. Extremely lazy, or B. An ardent PS3 fanboy.
How on earth have you got 7 bubbles?
Isn't it amusing when a fanboy brands another group of fanboys "the worst". All fanboys are equally irritating.
Nitrojin/Prototype, I take it you have another account? Else you're one of these people who talk Killzone 2 up yet never play it, 5 hours since February isn't much at all

Ah, the classic victim card.
He's probably angry that rubbish JRPGs like The Last Remnant weren't released on the PS3. Trust me, it ran poorly on the 360 and PC, I dread to see Square Enix port a UE3 game over to the PS3 (Note: I'm not saying UE3 is worse on the PS3, Batman is identical, perhaps even better on the PS3. I'm simply saying I doubt SE have the ability to port it well)
I don't think that is a worthwhile move for Sony, with FFXIII set to be unleashed upon Japan in a matter of months, along with FFvsXIII in 2011, Sony will essentially wrap up Japan, and the sales of JRPGs outside of Japan are poor in comparison to more western games such as FPS, driving, adventure.
