Maybe not for everyone but I read an article and saw an interview where game journalists played it and was impressed how interesting it was and how good the puzzles are. We will soon see. You can't live up to 10 years Dev time no matter what you release.

I was in a game shop over the weekend they plan to get a 4K tv with a demo pro hooked up so they can show customers, they say pre orders are already high and interest is good, people are asking to trade in original ps4 consoles to upgrade. Time will tell

Pre orders in my area are very high. The game store is getting a 4k tv to show customers the real difference as you just can't get it until you see it for yourself on a 4k display
To run a pc at 4k native you need a titan x and that runs at $900 on its own before ram, cpu fans, hd etc my friend has one and it still struggled and stutters but looks great when running smooth. I just wonder how much the next gen xbox will cost as Scorpio is MS giving up on this gen and starting again with bc.
I have a 4k tv and watched the released videos on it and I have to say I wasn't bothered by the pro as my launch ps4 is fine but the more I watch the more I am swayed especially at the low price the pro is. You really have to see the stuff on a 4k tv to understand how good it is. My local game shop said pre orders are high already and trade ins are getting quoted for the upgrade.

Sounds like you just prefer the xb1 so sell the ps4 it's clear you prefer gaming on the xb1. Truth is the only exclusive game out this year so far on xb1 is quantum break. Sony had quite a few more. The attach rate for multi plat are higher on the console with the bigger install base as it started off with last gen and the 360 2 year advantage. I agree on paper but in truth scorpio doesn't exist yet. No game play videos or digital foundry bench mark tests as it's not been built. I would expect it is more powerful since its next gen with bc. So now THE most important feature of a GAMES console is the ability to play 4K blu rays, wow I had no idea movies were the main reason you buy a games console. The price is great for double the power, if you don't want the pro don't buy it, I say wait to see how the market reacts at launch, I think with VR and the pro sales will be good.

I love that movies in a games console is a monumental issue. Anything that a console can do on top of play games is an added feature to me. I don't buy blu rays so it doesn't affect me. I play games and stream. This will not affect my console purchases now or in the future. Well put I totally agree. It always seems like the annoyed can shout the loudest, always amazes me how xbox fans take the time to post hate on Sony articles. I don't own xb so couldn't care less what's going on over there. Pre orders look un fazed on amazon UK and local game shops say interest and pre orders are very good.
