I just don't see the point in these bias articles towards ANY console. Usually it's down to what system your friends play on or price or type of games on any given system. Do we really need 15+ articles like this ? You may aswell get every gamer to do one of these articles as it's just 1 persons point of view. To be truthful I'm sick of seeing this and n4g.com as this is really not news for any real gamer who knows what they want without a ridiculous article opinion piece.

its quite a new technique i believe, they get potential customers excited for something they are selling by dazzling your senses and expectation.
I wonder if Sony are trying to combine marketing ads to show ps4 pro, VR and the slim. Could be confusing with 3 adverts. You would imagine they at least group the consoles in one advert.
When first allocation sells out on pre order day 1, I wonder if tons of marketing money is worth it. Let the word spread. When wii came out I remember a Christmas when they were forcing 7 or 10 games with the console as they were rare and in big demand. I don't remember seeing that many wii adverts, word just spread. I am not saying this will happen with psvr but adverts will start when they have more stock to sell

You don't buy vr for cinema mode do you ? That's just a side feature. Psvr looks amazing. You really need to demo it. Sony had it in all major cities in the uk. Ant decent game retailer should have a demo unit once it's out next week. Gotta try before you buy.

Everyone needs to understand this was not Sony it was retailers. Amazon or game started it to clear stock to make way for the slim and pro. These are all selling at a loss to each retailer. Great for consumers though.
It's something you need to try psvr is amazing as is the pro on a 4k TV. You can not demo or show either product unless you are trying it yourself. Sony has the talent and studios in prefer and price is key, so for me it's an easy choice and it's next Week !!
Let's have as many negative articles as we can about the games industry, especially Sony.
I think everyone interested in higher resolution needs to see it rather than read about it. I have a 4K tv and I was surprised in what I saw, very impressive. It's like VR you can't explain or do it justice or come to an honest view point on it until you see it in front of you.

Ips like guerilla and other studios who rely on their franchises. Maybe it makes them try new things and come out of the comfort zone. There are enough regular franchises around
I agree calling it god of war sounds like a reboot all be it the same character aged. It plays differently and class a new dynamic. I don't worry that it feels like the last of us, as to me this was the game of last gen for me. From what is shown they have a great scope for change and story and setting with the new mythology
Absolutely correct there so many devs doing this. Just because Sony publishes doesn't mean they are happy with delays from any Dev but it's a reality of this business. Maybe dates should be held off being announced until they are certain. I don't claim to know what issues you run into during development cycles. This article really should tackle the whole industry it doesn't help focusing on Sony when all are guilty of delays and false promises or even pc game play being passed...
I agree 3 or more years of you knowing a game exists but still not out is too long. Hype and expectations get out of control and that leads to people being disappointed. However this article would have been incredible if it was written about what's wrong with publishers, devs etc the whole industry, dlc prices, lazy annual releases, lack of new ups, how to positively try and change this industry. No company is perfect but I have to agree Sony don't develop no man's sky or kojimas game. Last guardian is a big Sony issue but then what about agent? Something happened there with rockstar. I'm happy to place responsibility where it truly is but to say all delays and all development issues are Sonys is not the actual fact.
i agree, i like it when there are 2 teams like when Naughty dog has Uncharted and Last of us both in production with 2 teams, just depends on resources really, but a smaller team could be working on ideas, assets and art to get a head start on any new directions / Ips
It's good for the platform holder and customer who chose that system. Personally I don't care about tomb raider as too much time passed. Although the game is probably quality and time hasn't changed this, the interest and hype was before it originally launched and now I am interested in psvr and other titles due out. So unfortunately I would only pick up tomb raider in the summer, when there are no releases at all and the game is very cheap new or used.
