Hahaha I've never heard that before. Don't ms say this every year. Good luck to Nintendo but I don't understand how people can keep playing Mario for years on end. If it's fun enjoy but why are people getting excited about skyrim ? It's years old.
The console can be the most exciting thing since sliced bread and more powerful than Scorpio it's not for me. I'm not 12 years old anymore and that's not to say the Nintendo games are not fun, just they don't have the type of games I play now. It may do well if supported but Its not a console I will pick up.Nintendo always seem to be playing catch up like they are a generation behind.

I have to say I totally agree. The price will be the factor and the exclusives. Trouble is in a year I can see Sony having a huge install base. People seem to shout about power but they don't own a pc ! Also power has never equalled the best selling console. All this is simply guess work. No one hear has played Scorpio. Currently it is a bit of paper with spec on it to the general public. Be honest it's just words from MS. Comparing some thing with no working titles, videos or footage to a system that's out next month is ridiculous. I know it's exciting but these articles will actually mean something when you have a date price, games list and footage to actually compare. I just wonder what the advance of getting Scorpio will be over ...
It's a fair point. If your happy and want more games why spend money on upgrading a console? No one is forcing anyone to buy anything.
I buy based on studios and Ips I like. Sony has always had a wider selection and diverse range and I like the majority of the exclusive games they have. Pro is no essential for me but after playing psvr I do want to buy this as out of no where will come a insane title that will have everyone going crazy for.
Have you used psvr for a good length of time ? Overall, price comfort, ease of use and fun factor are right uo there. I dont this the other headsets can cover such a wide range of benefits. My friend has vive and while he likes it he wishes he had waited as he tried psvr and found it more comfortable. He says vive makes you extremely hot very quickly and you have to stop playing.psvr is not like this. It's the same with 4k you have to see it to objectively comment.
I would love to know how all of a sudden Scorpio will play all the games best? Has anyone on here played Scorpio with fallout VR or rdr2 ? Come on now, no one knows price release or anything else.

I just think it covers all areas and people will buy what's most important to them. So if that happens it benefits Sony which ever way it goes. I image there are people who want all hardware and some who just want the pro. I can see strong sales of the pro next month.
Everyone I spoke to who bought it love it and the local shops can't get any more stock. I think we should see a big influx in games as it has sold better than the other vr headsets already. If stock returns to availability for Christmas I think the install base will just increase rapidly especially since you can demo it in store which you have to do if you haven't tried it. I think there will be some incredible experiences coming probably better than any game. I can see something comi...
After finally playing psvr I think it's clear this is the way forward. It's so well made and comfortable. It's sold out on amazon UK and ebay has the unit at double the price as stocks are not back until November. I would just wait personally. I think developers cam really take advantage of psvr. The res evil demo shows this and rigs etc. Maybe psvr helps sell consoles and the install base goes up.

This is what I am trying to tell people. If you view the ps4 pro videos in 4k there is a major difference. If you are unsure go to a game store who have demo units around launch with a 4k tv. My local store is getting one and psvr both items needs to be tried and not just viewed on a 1080 screen or youtube.
All ps4 games from October do have a pro mode it's a condition Sony are requiring devs to include.
For the trade in value the upgrade is good. Just think the trade in price of the console will only go down and not up. If you are happy with the current ps4 no worries as it works great and still plays psvr.
It's early days and reviews are good. It's very comfortable and lots of fun. It needs support and lots of it. So long as Sony continue to push games out on vr it will do fine. Even ign rate quite a few psvr games at 9.0. Also the trade In deals for the pro are very good I think it will be a busy time for Sony. Be great if they do vr games as part of ps plus !

Why so many down votes ? It makes complete sense. The US has never been the world. Although MS consoles should sell well in the states anyway.
