if power is what people want, get a pc and get endless upgrades for the power hungry, i dont have a pro and i dont see the need for either scorpio or pro. The real difference is studios and software and fun, so long as you have fun on what ever console you wish to buy just enjoy the games on offer. i cant see the need to argue of specs or plastic boxes.

I don't see the need for Scorpio or the pro. The original consoles still have plenty of life. A slight upgrade is not required for me personally. I guess choice is good providing it's value for money
It's cool they can upscale old games to 4k but if I finished a game I move forward to new experiences not backwards. Seems like they are making a big deal about old titles. Scorpio should have locked 60fps on all titles going forward not 4k going backwards.
I agree but sometimes it's starts with the execs. Greenberg and major Nelson don't always act professional and talk like fan boys so it's no wonder it bleeds into the fan base and media. I think some love the war that doesn't exist.
Funny thing is when I'm playing on my ps4 I don't give Nintendo or xb players a single thought as I'm playing and enjoying a game, this must be the same for xb and Nintendo gamers.
No one asked for the pro and I didn't think that needed the ps4 was fine, horizon looks great on standard ps4, it's strange for the pro and Scorpio to exist in my mind

They don't need a boost mode they need studios, exclusives and a diverse range of games from all regions and about 40 more million consoles sold asap.
This may be true but halo wars 2 and recore didn't get major sales or support from xb fans. These 3rd party Sony games are not 1st party but they are console exclusive and it matters most are ps4 exclusive even if 3rd party. Just shows variety and good relations Sony has with so many studios. MS seem to have problems with 3rd party relations also I think they wrecked rare a perfectly good studio once upon a time but all the talent has since left.
When the pro was rumoured everyone was negative saying there is no point and it splits the install base. Why not the same reaction for this ? I don't get it.

its only relevant to people who like the brand and the games they bring, i like diversity and variety personally. If i was a graphics whore i would own a pc.
With marketing going to playstation I would like to see a limited red ps4 pro bundle with a discount that would be sweet.
Scorpio will be $450 or higher, how can Scorpio outsell the ps4 if it comes out October or there abouts? Ps4 has been smashing it since January, Scorpio could take the last 2 months in the USA but not globally even priced at the same as the pro. The software isn't announced.

I hope it makes people happy but I never felt the pro was needes so why is Scorpio needed? I guess if both companies support the base unit it's good for the hardcore, resolution junkies.
