it has a deliberate cartoon style. if you put more detail in the textures and lighting it will look just like any other game which just wouldn't look like crackdown. Sunset overdrive is another example which looks very similar and I can't remember all the fuss about that looking like a 360 game. Do you understand what pre-alpha means? I'm disappointed the destruction isn't like what was shown 3 years ago but you should never expect pre alpha footage to represent the final game. The game still looks fun to me, really looking forward to playing co-op on Friday and hopefully developers can keep improving on the cloud tech in future games. Game pass for the win
If the worst thing about the xbox is that the best controller ever made uses batteries then the xbox must be one hell of an amazing console.
Come on children this is not a big a deal and the xbox's biggest problem this gen is it's lack of first party quality games. The controller is actually one of xbox's best features.

It really depends on how you measure success. Is it consoles sold or how much money they make from their gaming sectors. Hardware doesn't make much profit if any at all but obviously the more hardware leads to more software sales but the biggest money maker is services.
I agree. if I were Microsoft I would save as many games as possible for the launch of their next console as most people are already planning on getting a ps5 instead and the only things that could change peoples minds is load of awesome games at launch. halo infinite and the next killer instinct is a good start.
I'm hoping crackdown 3 is the end to their poor exclusive releases this generation. ori and the will of the wisps and gears 5 should be much better. crackdown 3 sums up everything that went wrong with xbox this gen.
not sure what's going on with the shadows. I've seen some footage where the characters don't have shadows and other with shadows. maybe it's pc footage with the shadows turned off.

character movement looks much better now. The transforming car looks amazing in the alpha footage though now it just changes instantly like a shit magic trick. This game really has been through development hell , still looks fun though

I simply don't believe them when they say it takes 12 xbox ones to run a multiplayer game. The multiplayer doesn't interest me at all. I can't wait to start collecting all the orbs in campaign though. I want to know more about co-op campaign can I collect orbs and level up my agent while I'm in somebody else's game?
It's not definitive but Jez does have links with people at Microsoft. We all saw the cloud destruction 3 years ago and it was much more impressive than what's in the final game. Also explains the delays.
