You know Psychonauts 2 wouldn't have turned out as good as it did without microsoft right ? They game was initially crowd funded and going to release roughly 2 years earlier. Microsoft acquired double fine and gave them 2 more years to fully realise their vision and it turned out as one of my personal favourite 3d platformers of all time
Rare only have themselves to blame. Their development process is extremely flawed, they basically build a game world before deciding what the gameplay loop is which is ridiculous, they did it with sea of thieves and they did it with everwild. The first trailer for everwild was 2019 so we can safely say they started work on it at least 2018, that's 7 freaking years with nothing to show, what the hell are they doing over their, just riding the ms gravey train ?
I thought 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020 were make or break for xbox ?

When asked about a new Banjo game Duncan said people think they want a new Banjo game but they don't really. I'd also like to point out he's been the head of a studio that hasn't released a game for over 10 years so just seems like a really bad appointment imo.

i think they said it takes roughly 1 to 2 hours to max a car out plus you can re-allocate points whenever you want. i actually prefer this system of earning upgrades but i can see why some people don't.
They've said many times the main reason for the deal is to strengthen place in mobile gaming
hardly any physical versions contain the full game these days, so even that isn't full proof. The only full proof way is to have all you games fully downloaded onto a hard drive and also have the disc for authentication.
