You really have to play this game to appreciate it. This is the best third person shooter you will see in a while.
Socom is the best third person online Multiplayer game right now. Socom takes skill and you have to work as a team. I have been playing COD4, Socom kills COD4 and Gears of war, the maps are bigger and not flat and linear like COD4. You just can't spray and pray, throw grenades and almost always kill someone in the process.
Almost everyone has a mic in Socom and it's the best online multiplayer shooter right now. Play the game and you will see why.
Socom requires skill and tactical thinking. Socom > than COD4 > Gears 1> etc. Socom Maps are big and and much more realistic than any of those other games. I just love how you can just throw a grenade up in the air and just kill any random person in COD4.
Socom Beta just needs to have all the glitches fixed. SOCOM is way better than Cod4. SOCOM takes skill so in that respect I can understand why some people prefer COD4. I just love it in COD4 when you can just through a grenade up in he air and kill any random person. Cod4 maps are small and is very Linear.

Just log off psn, load the game and if you want to go online select multiplayer from the phone.
My PS3 gta kept locking up at the intro screen. It seems GTA4 has an issue if you are logged into PSN. Quit the game or just turn on the PS3 without the game in it. Once your game loads you can play it or log back into psn when you select your phone and click multiplayer which will allow you to play online.
I live in Long Island NY and the Best Buys in my area only have the Ps3 40gb. Sales for the PS3 should definitely pick up once the the Metal Gear bundle comes out.
Alot of people are waiting for the MGS4 Dual shock rumble bundle that's coming this June. Sales for the PS3 should start to pick up once the new 80 Gb bundle comes out.
Samsung and Sony use the same LCD Panels. The only difference would be the electronics and that is why their Lcds are better than Samsungs. Sony makes the the best Lcds period followed by Samsung but they are expensive.
If they can add the 120gb hd for the same price as the 80gb. You will see it on their new sku. When they came out with the 40gb ps3 the price of the 40gb hd was the same as the 20gb.
20gb used to be the standard. Then it went to 40 and now it's 60 gb. Soon HD Manufacturers will discontinue 40 gb. I still don't understand why Msft is still selling the 20 gb add on. It's definitely costing them more money than than a 40 gb would.
I would call it a choice. You have the choice of being able to play ps2 games or not. I chose not not to, so I bought the 40gb ps3. I still have my ps2 and when it eventually breaks I will have a choice of upgrading to a ps3 (which will be cheaper by then) or buying another ps2.

I have the 40Gb with the 65nm . The question is when they go to 45nm cpu what size will the GPU be. The GPU os 90nm on the 80gb right now. I don't worry about those things. Have you seen the new ps2. Look how small it is.
You all must realize that the hard drive will always increase. The 40 ps3 will be replaced by the 80 and the 80 by the 120. Sony is doing everyone a favor, plus it's more cost effective for them.
If you check dell.com you smallest laptop HD is 60 and maybe by next year the standard will be 80gb. Maybe that's why the xbox 360 20gb HD cost so much. No HD manufacturer is mass producing 20gb anymore.
You all should realize that the 40gb PS3 will eventually be replaced by with 80 and the 80 with 120gb. It will be more cost effective for Sony and the consumers will be benefit. Check Dell.com and tell me what you notice? There are no 40gb hard Drives.

Every Major Consumer store sells Warranties because they know the chance of any Electronic failing is minimal. That's how they make extra money and you buy piece of mind. Never in the history of electronics has this happened. Face it MSFt made a piece of crap and now the retailer are suffering.

Wait, what the hell are they talking about? I don't even know. All I know is that I can't play BioShock, Halo 3, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Fable 2, etc... on the PS3.
Well I can play most of those games on Pc and the rest will eventually come. So I won't be buying a 360 anytime soon.
