And they both ran off of dedicated Servers and they were both no Auto Aim. Not sure about the xbox but you could also run a Battlefront PS2 game server off your PC. those were some good times.

Have you ever played Starwars Battlefront Online? The Auto Aim wasn't Assist back then, it was Auto Aim Lock On. On Battlefront servers you had two choices Play with Auto lock On which was a joke. Only noobs played with that option because all you had to do was pull the trigger and the reticle would lock on but again as I have said you had a choice.

The amount of Auto Aim assist in COD makes it so the average gamer can match up against a more superior gamer and therefore it will always sell more. Console games are made a lot easier these days so they can appeal to a wider demographic. Noob gamers swear that COD online is so much better than K2 online and think that K2 controls suck. And UT3 runs well but it didn't sell well did it. Gears does not have dedicated servers and it runs like doggy poop. You keeps buying Gears and COD I won't.
Infinity Ward and Epic will not add dedicated servers. If most gamers don't care why should they. It will be the same small maps, same P2P Hosting games, same campers, etc, etc.

Sky Halo has Auto Aim assist which is an improved version of Auto Aim Lock on and Cod is even worst. How long have you been gaming? I used to game on PC before I moved to Console. I also remember when you could turn off Auto aim.

Halo has Auto Aim assist which has evolved from full Auto Aim Lock on.
Helps average players paly the game better but screws players who want something more challenging.
I don't consider racing around maps to see who can grab the best weapons a challenge or getting runned over by noob in a vehicle fun.

No matter how you look at it Halo is a game for Noobs. Killzone is a much, much more harder game to play because it moves much faster and has no Auto aim assist.
Games like Halo, COD and Gears either has Auto aim or moved very slow. Gears is the worst out of them all. How anyone can play a game that slow just amazes me. But as I have said in my other post . Gaming is indeed changing to appeal to a wider demographic.
I have to disagree, The G3 fires one shot at a time and therefore is less effective at close range. Add the the Rapid Fire Mod controller and not only it the gun deadly at med to med far range but at close range too like the MP5.
If I had the Rapid fire Mod Controller the G3 would be my number one assault rifle.

Halo is a Auto Aim Game with cheap weapons just like Gears. Halo and Gears are popular because they appeal to a demographic than games like Killzone , Resistance and Socom. Halo and Gears don't require you to have as good wee and hand coordination like Killzone and Socom.
I really can't understand how anyone could even play Gears. The players move so slow it feels like you are crawling.
No Auto gamers like me are now the minority so noobs can now claim Halo, Gears...
DLC, the way it's going is bad for Gamers. It now seems Sony is fighting fire with fire and if you think about it . It's just bad for all gamers.
