Was the PS3 display setting set to RGB and super white on? Makes the picture so much better on my Panasonic Plasma tv.
FYI: never turn it on if you do not have a HDTV.
Game was too small and the graphics suked. And the online is for noobs - aka auto aim.
Give it a Rest, normal people that have a ps3 or a 360 could careless about witch version is better because we all have lives. I'm not about to run up the tv and check which version has one more pixel or which is slightly darker. Unless one version looks way better than the other or you prefer one controller to the other, it really doesn't matter which version you buy.
Exclusives is where this Generation will determine which console is better.

Make sure you use the right size screwdriver Pin Head and you won't strip it.
Being the last guy and killing three guys on the other team to win the game while all your teammates watch you is priceless. Having them all give you compliments is even better. You want a online game that is challenging then Socom is for you.
The game is challenging and will take time to learn if your new to it.
I will never Play on XBOX LIVE until they put more Servers. You guy make me laugh. Hosting from XBOX360 or even PS3 greater than dedicated Gaming Server, LOLL.

Socom isn't for everyone, if you want to a game that actually requires skill than you will like it. The game is never boring because the gameplay always changes.
There is no BullSh*t AUTO AIM, no health regeneration, no rolling on the floor, no moving in slow motion and no little kids screaming in the headset.

Socom is a third person shooter for any hardcore shooter fans. This game had Server issues when it first came out and that's the only real thing that xbox fanboys can use to attack this game.
Can't wait, most people don't use rockets or grenades in ranked rooms. Once I was in a room and one guy just keep rocket hoeing. During the intersessions peeps were calling him a rocket biatch,stop being so cheap and that he should jsut go play COD4 .
Don't go into ranked rooms on Socom because you are most likely to get owned and complain that this game suks, this game controls suk, oh I got owned so it must be the lag, COD4 is so much better, Vegas Six is so much better.

LOL, No matter what the reviewers say this game rocks. They actually just added more rooms yesterday so me and my clan mates could find a 16x16 room that can accommodate all of us at once. COD4 is awesome! Don't you love how you can just camp and get 7 kills in a row for a helicopter or throw grenade in the air because you are almost always guaranteed a kill. And if you get shot just hide in a corner and everything will be alright.

Socom is the only online game I play now, I usually play 3 hrs every night and the only game I'm waiting for now is Killzone 2. Then I'll have the best FPS and best third person online shooters.
