I bought MLB 08 and enjoyed every minute of it. There isn't a baseball franchise out there that comes close.
Blockbuster was just as bad. It got so hard to rent Blu-Rays I just went back to getting DVD's from Redbox for a $1. I only get "big screen" movies on Blu-Ray now.

I've met a lot of new friends on home. The games are okay but the social interaction part is what brings me back.
I'm a prude but that was HILARIOUS! People can be so inventive sometimes.
I was a late comer to the GOW franchise but the first two blew me away. I can't wait to play the 3rd one. If the graphics are what the rumors have been saying (Jaffe and others) that's just icing on the cake because the gameplay is second to none.
Now compare that with the 360 running Half life 2.

I think Guerilla is proving that Evolution could have matched their target render if they went after it. Either way Motorstorm is as fun as all get out.
I agree. The battles are intense. And that carrot they dangle out in front of you to rank up to get more abilities is addictive.
Nothing sounds better than that little chime you hear when another Helghast goes down. They should make that sound customizable.
The pistol is powerful but slow firing with limited range. But a few well placed shots will bring them down if you get the jump on them. But if you both get the bead on each other at the same time they'll hand you your @$$ with the automatic rifle.
Even the multiplayer looks downright ridiculous. But shooting the guns themselves is pure bliss. Because of the blood, sound and physics reaction to the bullets firing a FPS gun never felt better.
Great ideas in the article. Sony says they're listening for advice so hopefully some of them get implemented.
I would also add
1. A deck of playing cards (poker, spades etc would be great to play at someone's house or just outside in the main plaza)
2. Updated content that is exclusive to home. (Put all the new videos, trailers, contest, betas etc all in home and make them exclusive there)
3. Keep it fresh. Update the content daily. ...
