*the good guys at Microsoft also pay for exclusive content but it's okay *

This is getting very strange now. For the third time, I never said that MS didn't do it.

Why do certain folks here constantly have to bring up "MS Does it Too" when no one said otherwise? Either the comprehension level is low here or some people are too emotionally invested.

(In your case I'm guessing both)

This has to be a joke. The new roster of characters is the worse. Most are nothing more than a bunch of spamming target combos into level ones. None of them have any flare besides possibly JP, as the rest are bunch of Hot Topic over the top characterizations of racial stereotypes.

Call it "THE Call of Duty"

Deal null and void.

Reminds me of hollywood when they try and reboot a franchises by putting a "the" at the beginning of the title to differentiate it. THE Evil Dead. THE Final Destination.

@P_Bomb

*lmao! Coming soon: The The Suicide Squad 😂 *

YOOO! Exactly!

I mean randomeware? CoD is a powerhouse but there are definitely other games that could ignite a huge buzz if announced. Blizzard has already announced they're working on a new game, that alone is worth the price of purchase.

* Something clearly changed in the deal for them to agree to it *

You're right, something did change, wait for it, (drum roll please)

Microsoft won!! They own Activision, they have complete rights to CoD.

Crazy right? Sony has no choice but to sign the deal, the same 10 year agreement that was offered to Nintendo. Unless of course you have insider knowledge about the deal that we here aren't privy to, please let us poor dead bra...

Sounds like Sony got screwed over with this new deal from what is being reported over in twitter land.

I doubt that MS would remove past Activision games from PS, but it's funny that they have the option to do so. But everything is else is definitely up to MS.

*Did you forget that timed exclusivity deals was MS’s main mode of operation?*

What's happening here? Do you guys just read things and then automatically go into defense mode?

When did I say anything about MS never doing it too?

I'm literally saying Sony won't be able to pay for timed exclusive CoD content anymore, that's it. What does that have to do with MS and what they were doing in the past?

1076d ago 8 agree10 disagreeView comment

*I wonder why you and your ilk never cared or ignored Microsoft doing the same thing.*

Where did I ignore that and when did I ever care? Why do you and your ilk always bring up points no one ever makes?

*That means Sony is getting something they want,*

You say this but then go on to rant about not knowing the details of deal, you should have stopped there but then you increase your cope levels to 10 maximum by leaving this doozy

I'm sure there were a few squats made by Jim Ryan to fit the narrative here.

*therefore the whole drama.*

Yeah, nothing you said relates to one another. Good job

1076d ago 10 agree30 disagreeView comment

Crazy that this was the only concern from Jim and PS. All that ruckas, and the game still ends up on PS. The only thing Jim Ryan doesn't get is to pay for timed exclusive content.

What a waste of time

That looked like complete garbage

Seeing MS win finally broke him.

The game wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. I thought it was enjoyable, I read people talk about the cringe dialogue and I just have to wonder, were they expecting Shakespeare? Personally, i think some people had an agenda with the game, automatically associating it with some 'woke' agenda.

1077d ago 2 agree6 disagreeView comment

Well, we haven't really had a chance to say it since it was always pending.

Unlike the people from the beginning who made themselves sick trying to convince the echo chamber here that "it's bad for gaming" without ever saying why.

Prototype needs to be suited and re-booted.

But as much as I would like to see this, I also doubt this would be something that would happen. It wasn't before and i doubt it will be under the MS umbrella.

The new N4G buzz word is "consolidation"

I guess we needed something new other than "monopoly"

Awesome news, the fact the FTC even tried to file for an appeal when they had nothing in the first place was hilarious.
Going to be great seeing Game Pass blow up with more games from the Activision backlog.

What a great day for gamers!
