That’s because you’re a known Sony hater. If The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, you’d be screaming about how amazing MS from the rooftops.
Agreed. I hope Sony never focuses on their exclusives again. /s
Credit for what, more flash and pizazz? I think MS fanboys need to snap out of their trance and give kudos to Sony for showing in depth looks at the amazing looking games you can only play on Playstation.
So seeing actual gameplay of true exclusive games for your console of choice takes a back seat to a montage of games that will be available on the other console as well?
The downvotes to your comment just go to show the utter lack on reason by Xbots. All four of Sony’s exclusives with actual gameplay shown blew away anything shown exclusive to Microsoft. Just tip your hat to Sony. They have the best internal devs in the world, and it shows. My god, give Xbots anything at all to grasp on, and they pounce on it like rabbid dogs. All I can say is thank god for Sony, and I hope Xbox cult members enjoy their subscriptions next gen. Especially once they jack ...
MS did not do better than Sony, my god. What’s wrong with Xbox sheep? It may have been more entertaining because of the third party highlight reel, but Sony showed their exclusives, and nothing coming from Microsoft can touch them. People will fast forget all those reveals as they release on both platforms, and this “amazing” conference high will fade in a week as the grim reality that MS still has no exclusives sinks back in. All flash and no substance. I also strongly believe Sony’s la...
Why are Japanese games on Xbox a move in the right direction? The fan base has a long history of not supporting them unless they’re “westernized” major titles like Dark Souls or FF15. All it serves is a perception for the brand and to be used on in fanboy game war lists. Disagree all you want, but those are facts. The breakdown will never be released, but it’s a guarantee the Tales of Vesperia remaster PS/Xbox ratio of sales will be overwhelmingly lopsided to Playstation 4.
Regardless of your feelings about the subject, it’s still not the smartest thing to say to your customers. EA acting like some moral pariah after being consistently voted worst company every year. The irony 😂. It reminds me of Adam Orth: Deal with it!
Are you seriously that pissed about Ellie’s lesbian kissing scene in the Last of Us 2 trailer?
I think the focus on those four known games and no new exclusive announcements speaks more to the place in the console cycle. Clearly we’re getting new hardware in the next year or so, and you can’t very well go announcing new games for the PS5 when it hasn’t even been officially announced.
They’re not playing for tomorrow. They’re setting themselves up to ram the exact same vision for the next console as Xbox One, minus the focus on media. Streaming, play on any device, all digital, focus on rental and services, no ownership, no reselling games, and forfeiture of your rights as a consumer. Except now boneheaded fanboys seem to be open and desperate to taking it up the ass this time.
Can everyone just stop with their fantasies of “buying” every good dev in existence? That goes for PlayStation or Xbox. If you’re acquiring a studio that’s always done exclusive like Playdead/Undead Labs for Xbox or Quantic Dream for PlayStation, then fine. It makes sense and isn’t hurting anyone.
But when I hear names like Atlus, Obsidian, or Crystal Dynamics, that’s not good for ANYONE in the industry. Those are established multi plat developers, and all acquiring the...
Did I miss all the QTE?
But it wasn’t good unless you were looking at the third party showcase that took up 90% of the show. My favorite part was Cyberpunk 2077 at the end, and I’ll be playing that on PS4.
And there isn’t. Contrary to to many blinded Xbox fans, Microsoft did not have a good E3. They put on one hell of a showcase for a ton of third parties. Their annual exclusive gears/halo/forza retread is old. Buying studios looks good on paper, but that’s only because they have no talent in cultivating their own. Ninja Theory and Conpulsion will wither like other victims under the MS umbrella.
Most importantly, MS hammered home they are a service. That’s their future,...
I’m kinda surprised nobody has brought up the absence of the V.A.T.S. system. That combat really set the game apart from other FPS. It was noticeably absent from the trailers, Todd Howard didn’t say a word about it, and I’m not sure how you’d implement it in an all online world. That’s one of the best mechanics in Fallout, and it’s actually a bigger deal breaker for me than being pure online.
Or maybe you’re the teenager? As an adult, I don’t need ANY company telling me what kind of content is appropriate for me. There are parental controls on all consoles to keep content from minors.
I disagree. Even if the single player campaign is uninspired, it still leaves me with a game to play once the servers are shut down. Otherwise it becomes a paperweight.
The bias was earned by MS and is well deserved.
Because MS can’t grasp the concept of creation. Need a specific game? Buy it! Need to cover a genre? Buy it! Need first party support? Buy it!
