I know it’s probably a pipe dream, but I’m probably one of the few that would love to see a game in true 8K. I’m probably one of the only ones here with an 8K TV, and even in 30fps, the difference between 4K and 8K is absolutely noticeable assuming you have a screen at least 80”.

This article is highly misleading. This game came out on PS4 and Xbox over five years ago in 2014. The systems hadn’t even been out a year. If this came out today with all the accrued system knowledge and programming techniques, there wouldn’t even be anything to discuss.
You could say the same for every non Nintendo exclusive on Switch. The PS4 install base worldwide is much larger than Switch.
I’m sorry, journalists be damned, Days Gone should be on that game of the year list. It’s one of the best experiences to be had this generation. It’s not just good, it’s great.

Typical Microsoft. Trying to buy their way to the top. Any time you hear about Sony eyeing acquisitions, the MS sheep panic and preach they should build studios from the ground up so as not to take games of their preferred console. When It’s MS though, suddenly they want them to buy some of the best multi plat studios in gaming, and damned if PlayStation gamers have those games taken off their system. Xbox faithful are pathological hypocrites.

They do, it’s called Killzone. I won’t debate the quality of the series since I’m not into FPS and don’t know how it stacks up to competitors like Halo. But they have one nonetheless.
Off Topic: Has there been any news at all recently about localizing the remasters of 3, 4, and 5? Sega was on a roll with these, and now its been nothing but radio silence.
How ironic that you of all people praising MS for scooping up multi plat studios like Ninja Theory and Obsidian would be against this move because you’d be losing out on Remedy’s games Xbox. It’s not so great anymore when the shoe is on the other foot, is it?
That’s wonderful news! Now we’ve just cemented crippling micro transactions, grossly excessive grinding to encourage said micro transactions, and even further SJW control over our games with the next release having 100% full body suits for the women that’s won’t even show eyeballs. I’d love to play Octopath Traveler on PS4. Heck, I’d love to play Shin Megami Tensei 5 on PS4. All systems have their exclusives. Instead if port begging, buy the system if you those games.
I wouldn’t mind one, and while it may only be a small percentage of people that can take advantage of 8K, that doesn’t mean devs shouldn’t make any. Most people can’t get 120 fps either, yet there are games coming that support it.
