What an ignorant comment. Sony has nothing to do with the ratings bodies.
Edit: I whipped through that twitter posts too quickly. It appears Sony did the put the halt on it, which is mind boggling considering they’ve been the poster child for this type of material. In that case, I hope Sony gets the thrashing they deserve for this. They’re certainly in the news for all the wrong reasons lately 🤷🏻♂️.
I’m ready for Paris Games Week.
Microsoft withholding updates/versions/editions because a competitor wasn’t down with crossplay with be the ultimate definition of anti-consumerism. And yet, I’d understand the move if they actually did it because MS is a business.
“Not for the players”
Name exclusive four games even in the same realm as Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, and The Last of Us part 2?
Come on, give me a good laugh and tell me about burnt out Forza or Gears retread. I’m all ears.
They’re playing a game at aimed at five year olds in Minecraft, what do you expect? 🤷🏻♂️ Meanwhile, we’ve got one hell of backlog of real exclusives, and it’s not getting any smaller.
There are thousands of devs in the same boat. The salt is justified, and I’ll freely admit to being one of those pissed off gamers. MS buying Playground & Undead Labs made sense and was no big deal as they were already making games exclusively for them. Forming the initiative was also no big deal as they’re trying to cultivate their own brand from scratch. But all the Ninja Theory purchase did was take games away from a massive chunk of the community. They were an establisblished mul...
A million is a lot, no doubt. But given its release on three platforms, low price point, and insane amount of hype, it really isn’t nearly as impressive as it seems at face value.
I’d guess the real is answer is Sony never approached them. They’re not hurting for studios, and MS desperately needed to try and reassure fans they were still invested in gaming.
Good luck seeing those numbers again. #sellouts
That sounds like a personal problem. My also ten year old son was more concerned that girls have cooties 😂. I’m guessing the problem was with you and your kiddo didn’t care either way.
A lot of Nintendo fans are also under 24. Moot point.
He’s acting mature like an adult by pointing out reality. Maybe you should wait a few years until you can at least legally obtain a drivers license before telling others to stop acting like a child when you’re one yourself?
Says the ultimate Nintendo defender along with EddieNX, JD King, and NeonRidr. Nintendo really does make quality games, but they will always cater and market to the casuals and kids. It’s a great companion system but will never be more than that.
Shit up about Ori. The game would do well on PS4 but it’s still an indie style platformer, regardless of who’s publishing it. Most Xbox fans don’t own it or care except to add to these stupid lists. CD3 is universally considered a laughing stock. MS didn’t even showcase it at E3. Ashen and Below may be good, but they’re in the same boat as Ori and are just used for these types of lists. Battletoads is nothing more than a name at this point and again is just a name to throw on these list...
Telling the truth is insecurity?
No they should be thankful they’re getting a Japanese game that will likely see only a mild return at best at all. Xbox fans don’t like to hear the truth, but they don’t support games unless they’re highly Westernized. Sunset Overdrive’s sales we’re a travesty, and that game was both western and fantastic.
They’re getting fake outrage from a very small vocal minority of primarily non Playstation fans. They just won another NPD for crying out loud, so no it’s NOT the Armageddon a few haters (including some in the media) here portray it to be. It’s a non issue no matter how many regurgitated articles you find here bitching about it.
I wonder if the author was surprised by the Forza reveal as well 🤷🏻♂️.
If you think E3 sucks, you’re in the wrong industry lol. It’s like Super Bowl week for gaming.
The game is definitely not a visual novel. At least do some basic homework on a topic before you comment on it.
