here's a report - MS has just cut prices on all sku's for their xbox 360 consoles and is now offering bundles at amazingly low prices...i guess it hasn't affected MS to the point that you were hoping...

Actually MS is much bigger than Sony. You also basically agreed to what i had stated with Sony being the heavy hitters and having such a huge market share with the PS1 & 2 - they didn't need to pay for 3rd party exclusives.

I agree this is a global issue and not just sony...but wait...if this is hitting MS as well, why are they able to drop the price of all their sku's for the 360...
maybe since the PS3 is still rather expensive - people are just looking for a cheaper alternative to play games and yes that would be the Wii and 360.

Actually - 1 of the 2 DLC will be out before the end of this year and the second will be early 2009...Well yes if would be nice it MS invested into more 1st party games - i think we can all agree to that - but if they want to use the money to secure extra content on games for their userbase then i see nothing wrong with that either...they are just trying to give more to the people who are fans of the series and are also trying get the edge over the potential buyer who may own both consoles......
