Well you have to remember that their first success started out on the Nintendo not Sony. The Quote "We don't want Sony to be the overwhelming victor" may sound arrogant but its good business - this allows them to spread out their potential market and with the PS3 in last place it makes sense. In order to make money off of their games they need a larger install base which the PS1 & 2 had but not so much the PS3.
"I would ask them "You don't want Sony t...
Actually the 360 does have games that run at 60fps as well as games that have a higher resolution than the ps3 counterparts...Alex you really should do some research before you speak, you're making PS3 owners and PS3 Fanboys look bad. Please don't be so ignorant and there is no need for you to post the same quote twice unless you think PS3 fanboys can't read thus pasting it again a bit lower so that they can read it again to understand your points...
Sorry NegativeCreep....but Megatron is right and you are not...the title of the article says "Confirmed:Microsoft Paid Eidos for DLC and Demo Exclusivity" however there is noting in the article that states they made any kind of purchase nor any kind of payment. I don't see any Confirmation other than the quote you provided and that says nothing at all that MS paid for the DLC so where is the confirmation...
Well i see a lot of people questioning the quality and backing it up with what their past work has achieved - however i still don't see all that many posts where they actually "BASH" the devs of Software. Maybe you exaggerated just a little bit there don't ya think...
I totally agree with ya. You are absolutly right. However when is enough repayment enough? Sony only owns 12%. At what point can SE feel like they have repaid their debts to Sony for the assistance Sony gave? I think SE has put out a lot of great FF franchise games onto sony's PS1, PS2, and PSP. SE is not owned by anyone but themselves and thus make up their own decisions on where to take their hard work.
Well Halo 1 was a launch title for the XBOX and it got GOTY so don't be so quick to hide behind low review scores for launch titles...
I think what 1 game is actually an exclusive to 360 from SE while the rest are timed exclusive and even that game there are rumors that it is a timed exclusive as well...so ya i would say that SE are making the games for both the 360 and PS3 they are multiplats. Just timed and the reason may be that they want to get the games out asap on the 360 so that they can use the extra money to help fund the PS3 versions of the same game...
Also Juuken - i never said the FF franchise is...
Whoe Whoe Whoe - slow down there Juuken. You are just on a common scense rampage!!! Too bad so many don't follow your lead.
Actually i think that the PS3 and 360 are both getting seperate EXCLUSIVE content for Mirrors Edge...so in a way MS is still getting content on multi-plat games that the PS3 isn't...
Also to the other guys on here i didn't recall reading in the article about MS paying for it - i was reading fast as i am at work and may have over looked it...can ya show me where it stated that MS paid for the extra content for the game?
Arcade version comes with a memory card...and if that fills up you can go on ebay and buy a 20 gig for cheap..
It wouldn't be called EXTRA if it was already apart of the game...
Nope because the arcade unit comes with a memory card...
Kudos to you Juuken - you are absolutly right. Assuming that if the problem still exists with new hardware - eventually the information will get out to consumers who are not generally in the know about consoles and will just spend the extra money on the PS3 for reliability.
Hmm i don't recall reading anywhere in the posts about anyone bashing those developers as i like the software devs. Maybe you could provide a link so that i can read what all those people were saying about software.
Also..seems a little strange that a "sony rep" is the first to post in an xbox 360 thread...are you looking to troll??
I am suprised that Juuken actually made an unbiased comment - however Juuken i am sure that the content on the PS3 will not in any way be scaled down - what will happen is MS will pony up the money for the extra discs.
So you want to "kick to the curb" the company that has provided you with arguably the best JRPGS the PS brand has ever seen and is still providing you quality JRPGs all because they are going Multiplat...Please Sony don't listen to the rants of this Ignorant closed minded poster...please keep the JRPGs coming.
Thanks
How can it play like a PS3 port if it was never released on the PS3? Where do you find your comparison? Going by history of Console ports i would argue that it would have been a lot worse on the PS3. Your comment is absolute ignorance.
well i have a PS3 and an Xbox but atleast im not as blind as you there my friend. And with the 360 outselling in Sony's home country for 2 straight weeks and now also in EU. Not too mention that for the first 2 years multi-plats have been better on the 360 as well as higher rated 1st party games which is shown on particular sites that have had their articles removed from this site as blind fanboys like yourself throw tantrums on the floor and kick and scream because they don't like the fact...
Uh have you been under a rock for the last 3 years...there have been TONS of articles about RROD on this site...just because that TGR didn't do one and join the other 5 thousand articles about Hardware Reliability doesn't mean that their other articles are not valid...so what you are saying then their article about the facts which they got from a different site that shows the METRIC scores of reviews that are posted on this site anyways would have been ok as long as they posted an article abo...
Actually that commercial was perfect. It was clearly marketed to the kid/teen demographics. It shows how you can become anything you want to be...at a time when young people are still trying to figure out what they want to do or be when they grow up hence why they used a real actor, people can relate more to a human persona than an animated character. This will spark the interest that the user can put himself into the eyes of the character and actual shape and mold him/herself in the games...
