It appears that there are a lot of BLOGS that are approved on this site...such as the i am trading in my 360 for a PS3 because i don't like the latest news about MS...ETC. Or i am a reporter who has nothing to do in the gaming industry but my son just bought a 360 - now he traded it in for a PS3 - oh wait he is board with his PS3 now he is going to trade it in for another 360 please notice me BLAH BLAH BLAH...
Not too mention that PS2 games have the scores that they do because they are judged by the standards of that generation...if you compare KZ2 to KZ1 you know that KZ2 is going to destroy in every aspect and category against KZ1 because it will always be judged by the highest common denominator...so KZ2 would get 9.5/10 and KZ1 would get a 3/10. But KZ1 received the score it did because it was up against games from its era. Just like GOW 1&2, they were judged by the other games of that er...

Well this is a very PRO SONY site. Any negative press (factual or not) is going to get a very bad welcoming...but even i never thought that factual articles would be censored on this site regarding metric scores...this site has always had articles from other sites contain review scores and previews...I guess its the Sony fanboys that run this site and not the gamers...

Actually i think Cliff's statement is very much correct about the game being "passive entertainment". I have played and completed both and with MGS4 i could lay on the ground for an hour while getting something to drink while enemies just walk back and forth. I could sneak across the whole field very slow and stay hidden and just let my guy lay there. Not too mention the 9+ hours of watching videos, well actually 4.5 hours of watching great cut scenes while the other 4.5 was rath...

I have read so far up to this point and i have yet to see anyone claim that the PS3 is DEAD...It seems you are exaggerating just a bit there, from the comments i see is that recognition should be made that even after a lot of PS3 fanboys (including yourself and Juuken) seem to think that the PS3 has all this momentum going into the holiday season...which i have said before that it doesn't, atleast not gai...
Well judging by the only clip that was available to me i would have to say no. The MGS rail scene was more..."personal" i guess you could say...i don't want to give a way any spoilers but the size of the scene that took place was much smaller in scale than the size in the scene with Gears2...Gears shows a lot going on with you and the rest of the squad it's just plain adrenalin, nothing to really attach the player too other than the glory of ripping apart some locust...while MGS4's...

Well in MGS4 when on the motorcycle you were on rails and is one of the best parts of the game and nobody even you seemed to complain about that...so being on rails for some small portion in the game really has nothing to do with how good or bad the game is...its just a portion of the game. Don't let a small rail scene impare your judgement on how Big a game can be.

Why would someone trade in a PS3 when they can easily buy a new 360 that is only $299...come on, for that price you could have just bought the 360 and had both platforms...and why is some random guy making a random blog about consoles? Your right it is on the PC however at a 3rd of the cost i can play the exact same game on the 360...seems like the better choice again is on the console and not the PC...
On another note...even though this game looks great...why only ferrari's??? I am getting tired of games that only have 1 maker...i love how Forza2 has so many options for cars and upgrades and damage and the physics...and well i could go on..Maybe Forza3 will will look like this game and still have all the bell...

actually the PS3 was out and a game called resistance FOM was its launch title...now if i am not mistaken HALO on the original xbox was a launch title too and got GOTY so dont be so quick to assume that just because a console is new on the scene that all launch titles cant be a contender for the GOTY spot...Gears did have compitition, its just all the games were on the 360.
