Actually MGS4 is atleast 3 hours and 13 minutes. And i have completed it and it is not open - it is Linear with 1 or 2 paths to take...unless you are talking about a particular boss fight that is in the snow or some warehouses that have 3 - 4 levels that go up but really the game is linear and cannot be considered open world like GTA, Oblivion or Fallout.

I have played and completed both Gears 2 and Resistance 2 and Gears is by far the better game in graphics, gameplay, and yes even story. I have also been told by family and friends who have played both and say Gears 2 is better. The Tilts review of Resistance 2 is nothing more than an immature lop-sided review. It is one of like 2 sites that gave the game 10/10 while other major and more creditable sites gave it 8's and 9's.

Sony should be taking note of this...Its called MARKETING. kids will love this and want to pre-order, guaranteeing more sales just to have these...Anything that is "extra" without cost is a bonus. If LBP was offering real sack boys with custom cloths and outfits for free with a simple pre-order the game maybe would have sold better.

I do have the game - bought it because of all the HYPE. If i still bought it even after the "delay" then i guarantee you sony fanboys / girls like yourself didn't care about the delay and bought it anyways on day 1. The casual gamers probably didn't even know the date it would be out so weren't exactly caring ...

Totally agree. The story in Gears 2 is awesome and i feel the side story of Dom searching for his wife is an absolutely great story.
I have played through the game 3 times now, thats 3 more times than i played MGS4. I just felt the story was more interesting....but hey...i also love movies like Alien, Aliens, Predator, Ironman, Batman, Event horizon, Independence day, all the Die Hards...you know, all the GUY movies that are packed non-stop with action, car chases, explosions.....

Sorry dude the MART is right and that there are some areas that are as clear as day that look much better on the 360 - such as the rock comparison, the guy on fire and even the beginning you can see the PS3 is more blurry. It appears that the Sony fanboys are the only ones that can't see the difference and proclaim that they are the same when graphically they are not....the 360 wins again in this graphical comparison.
Don't forget that you can check your friends list on your Blackberry, text them while they are playing, and receive messages from them on your phone while they are playing.
Also with the new dashboard you will be able to DL a HD or SD movie and watch it with 7 other of your friends online together...and each one of them could be located anywhere in the world.
well considering the 360 library has a larger game selection with the highest rated games and most highest rated exclusives i would say that it is the PS3 fanboys that have the low standards...and Gears 2 has a higher Meta score than about 98% of the ps3 games.

Well there was a lot of HYPE for Halo 3...but i think there are more Halo players that would agree thats it has by far more re-payability than MGS4. Also HALO 3 is still one of the most played games on xbox live and even bumped COD4 a couple of times as most played game over live for a couple of weeks...
I understand your point that you felt it was an average fps - HOWEVER there are many more people that would disagree.
