i just finished LO and i thought it was awsome. over 70+ hours later and i feel it was well worth the time i played it and the money i spent on it.
Banjo wasn't nearly as HYPED up as LBP was - and LBP has the highest review score on the PS3....anything less than 1 mill in its first 4 days is rather disappointing - especially with all the exposure LBP received

Exactly...so if every 360 has a silver which is already set up on the xbox then 14+ million would be higher...they are only counting the Gold as it has to be activated since its the only service account that has a "subscription" and is not already active on the xbox.
Silver can't be considered a subscription as every xbox comes with one...only the Gold membership is considered as a subscription because you have to "subscribe" for Gold...

Tried and failed...I got caught up in the HYPE for LBP and ya its a good game for the casual audiance...but guess what..the PS3 and 360's market has a small % of casual gamers...that is for the Wii. If you want to make a game that will sell well on the PS3 or 360 you have to cater to the demographics of the product you are trying to sell...its marketing 101 here Juuken...Supply and Demand...There is little demand right now for LBP as sales show...Wait till christmas. I am sure LBP will sell...
Did you even read his comments...what do you mean "You're acting as if Sony is the only company that does these things when other companies do it as well" thats totally irrelevant to what he said...and ya there are plenty of games on the PS3...i know because i have BOTH systems and i get to compare the games that are multiplat for both systems...and the games just keep going over to the 360...

Anyone have a link that states the 14+ million Live subscribers are silver + gold memberships...because every 360 sold has a silver account not a gold...so what is stopping MS from saying there are 22+ million live subscribers?
I am pretty sure that the 14+ million subscribers are strictly Gold unless someone can provide a link that states otherwise...there is just too much speculation in this "Sony" thread and not enough facts...like usual.

Thats the way to go!! Keep promoting you the PS3...i am sure you will receive the Sony check soon with all this hard work you are doing. Can you please supply a link to your claimes...if not then i am assuming that you would be lying then. And since you are a liar and are promoting the PS3, i take it the PS3 is a console for liars which by following the trail to go back to the original source - that would lead back to Sony themselves...and with my findings Sony has Lied numerous times and made outlandish claimes regarding the PS3...
So in conclusion PS3 only owners are liars and should not be taken seriously.

Gears 1 was a new IP and sold around 2 mill its first few weeks and has sold 5 mill to date...Don't use "its a new IP" as an excuse - if the public is interested in the game they will buy it regardless of when released, or cost or type of game...
It may be a great game but if the general public just isn't interested with spending their $60 on that kind of game and would rather spend it on a different game such as possible R2 or other multiplat games, then expect a slo...

That commercial was awesome. Absolutely nothing creepy about that. Great advertising for the game "LIPS". I found it rather humorous and entertaining. The Lips had personality and i found the part funny where the lips stumble right at the lyric "stumble".

No they are not...HDTV's are just starting to hit their stride in the mainstream market...and Blu-ray still has a way to go as a lot of people are still happy with standard DVD's and are not ready to change their library around.
Blu-ray still has a way to go before it is considered a mainstream product and hits to the mass market. Guys like US who have a PS3 already have a Blu-ray player so we are apart of the small % and to us it's just in the norm to have a Blu-ray.

I own both consoles. And i didn't know there was a "real" way to play that game...hold on let me check my MGS4 manual...flips page...flips page...checks index...nope nothing in the manual that says you cannot run through the game shooting at anything you want...

I agree its not as good as Gears 2 - but the game does look good beside the Gears 2 game in my 360 exclusive library...
If the 20 gig HDD has only 13 available then 1 disc should only be max 9 gig...install 1 game then delete it when done. That still leaves you with 4 gigs left to have for music and movies...and games that are multi disc - just rip the disc you are currently on...for example i was on disc 4 with LO before the NXE came out - when it did i just installed disc 4 and finished the game...i didn't need to install all 4 discs (and i have 120 gigs available to me). Its not rocket science.
