You've got to be kidding me!
Ratchet and Clank games have ALWAYS been good (check the reviews), so what makes you think that all of a sudden Insomniac will make a bad one?
As for MAG, I have heard many positive previews, so there's no reason to think that will be bad either.
But I agree that Uncharted 2 will be the best game this year, possibly better than Killzone 2. I'm thinking this mainly because my favourite game ever is Drake's Fortune.
I'm thinking he means that exclusive games are generally of higher quality than multiplat games. That goes for 360 exclusives as well.
Come to think of it the only Multiplat games I have are Call of Duty and Assassins creed.
But still, I think MGS4, Killzone 2, and especially Drake's Fortune are in their own league when it comes to quality
I think Infinity Ward is pretty cool. But the best ones are Insomniac, Epic Games, and Guerilla.
Just because Drake's Fortune is the best game ever. Also I'm not caring at all about God of War 3, I'm just over all buttonmasher hack n' slash games, they get repetitive too quickly.
My computer is fairly decent, but is always outperformed by my PS3.
That is, except for the Orange Box. I traded in the PS3 version after about a month because it sucked so hard, but I enjoy the PC version after a much longer time.
Uncharted was the first game to get "Cinematic style" correctly. The great characters and story made the game almost a movie in itself. Minimal changes would be needed to script to make it work in a movie.
What I'm saying is that this is the perfect game to make into a film, and if Hollywood stuffs this up, like it has all other video game movies, then they need to separate the two industries by some inpenetrable 300 metre high wall that has razor sharp teeth and lazers...
I have to disgree with you. I have a quite good computer. Core 2 duo with 4GB ram and 1GB graphics card, but it is easily outperformed by my playstation. A perfect exapmle is Far Cry 2. It run much smoother and with more detail on my playstation than on my computer. Too bad the game sucked 8(
Anyway I usually stick to my playstation for games now, except for PC games like Left 4 Dead and RTS games. But shooter games are for my ps3 (say what you want but i love the controller)
Drake's Fortune is still yet to be matched in terms of gameplay, nothing compares. CoD4, MGS4 and Killzone 2 came close but I've never had as much fun with any other game. I have played through Uncharted about 26 times (no BS).
"I manage to hit the target and then I notice how long its taking. It is one of a limited number of small problems that come with this beta - other players seem to take quite a few bullets. This isn't as bad as, maybe, Killzone 2 feels, but it could c...
But I won't be buying this game. I'm so over hackand slash buttonmashers, they just get overly repetitive. Pushing button combinations over and over and over again loses its fun too quickly.
The other God of War games, DMC4 and Heavenly Sword are recent examples of games that are just too repetitive and involve too little interactivity to keep me interested.
They obviously haven't playeyed resistance 2 co-op. This was 8 player class based co-op and I believe was the best co-op mode ever done. Simple because of the nice long missions (seperate from the campaign) and the focus on teamwork.
Co-op in call of duty is ok but there isn't a great sense of "I'm relying on him to survive" Which is what I should be feeling.
WOW. You really went into some technical stuff. I'm not sur I belive that a PS3 is better than an i7 but yu do seem to know what you're talking about.
As for the game I must say I was impressed. Drake's Fortune is my favourite game ever; I thought it was a perfect game and I really didn't see how it could be improved, but I was wrong. The game is a drastic improvement on the first in almost every aspect. I can't wait.
Yeah they are great games. But TF2 charcters are a bit redicuous, but overall fun. The thing is their personality is only present in game with the taunts, in the "Meet the _" videos is where we really see who they are.
None of them can be on this list because their personalities aren't a big factor of the game, whereas in story driven games like those on the list, a characters personality actually matters.
I stopped playing after about a week.
Singleplayer was repetitive and the shooting was no fun.
Multiplayer was rediculously tacked on without effort.
Driving was the only real fun thing, but if I wanted a driving game I would have bought one.
I was thinking the whol time reading the article: "If Nathan Drake isn't number 1 then I'm gonna &#%*@ somebody!"
But seriously you should play Drake's Fortune. Possibly the best game ever... Well it is in my books.
Drake is just the most beliveable game character ever. The way he reacts to grenades landing near him or bullets flying past him is freakishly realistic. A well detailed character with animation that surpasses all other games. He's one of the main reasons Uncharted is my favourite game ever.

I didn't understand your comment until I looked at your name and picture. But then I laughed so hard!
Edit: Can't wait for Among theives!
Drake's Fortune is a near-perfect game. Awesome story and unrivaled gameplay, surpassing even gears of war. I think of it as my favourite game of all time and can play through it again and again.
Did anyone really expect any other game to win in this category? It's like any other game besides Gears 2 winning last years award. But Uncharted has MUCH better gameplay than Gears of War so it deserves this award even more.
That's what I felt when playing Drake's Fortune, which is my favourite game ever btw. The sequel looks to be an improvement in all aspects.
WTF are you talking about?
Anyway I'm surprised that they can actually improve at all on this game. KZ2 is nearly perfect in all areas.
