I didn't even know that was coming out!
Hiw did I miss that?
No mention of Uncharted 2 or then new Ratchet and Clank. And come on, a Halo expansion? Really?
Same as any other fighting/action game. Reapetaing the same combos over and over gets really boring quickly. Devil May Cry, God of War and Heavenly Sword are all games that people love but I find too repetitive to enjoy.
I'll bet I get a lot of disagrees for this post.
It seems every list of upcoming games has missed Ratchet and Clank. Even though they are all good games and a crack in time is my second most anticipated game this year.
but is still easily outperformed by my PS3
2.8 GHz core 2 duo
4 GB RAM
1 GB 4650
64-bit windows 7(RC)
But still can't match the graphics of Drake's Fortune
Time for me to upgrade?
#1 & #2 : Drake's Fortune and Crysis
They have great water. Crysis' water looks better, But the way the water interacts in Uncharted is much better (e.g. the waves in the jet-ski levels and soaked clothes) So they tie for first
#3: Bioshock
#4: Resistance 2 (moves and looks real but has some jaggies and is always brown)
#5: MGS 4
Graphics cards are expensive in Australia. A good one is about $350 minimum (mine was only $120), while a PS3 or 360 is $500.
So while PC is the best quality, it's not the best value.
I kind of get annoyed when people talk about "the PC" as if it's a console, like all have the same specs and that everyone's PC is as good as theirs. For a lot of people, their PC is not as good as a playstation or xbox. So please stop generalising.
I've never been in war but I can imagine loud swearing is a natural reaction to bullets flying past your head and bombs oing off around you. Games like Killzone and Gears have the right to swear as much as they want.
Is this the same edge that game Resistance 2 a 6/10? And Killzone 2 a 7/10?
Because if it is then no one should give their review scores any credibility or recognition.
After less than 2 weeks I was back to call of duty and Uncharted.
All GTA games are a bit overrated, and all Halo games are WAY overrated. Never had much fun with any of them.
Ratchet and Clank is left out.
Probably my second most wanted game for the rest of this year.
I loved the drug deals and territory aquistion side of it.
When a character doesn't speak it certainly adds to it, such as in the Half-Life's and Call of Duty's. But the most immersive game I've played is Killzone 2, just because of the environmental interaction, the way the weapon recoil shakes the whole screen, the weighy feeling of movement and especially first person cover system. If you take all the HUD and aiming reticle off then it's even more immersive.
I just think it's stupid in HL2 how when pushing buttons or switches, or when...
It's closer to Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Probably a good movie because it's the best video game story.
But I think it's just trying to show how stupid the whole "war" thing is, and kind of teases people who spend their lives arguing on the internet.
Was kinda funny too. But still lame.
And MGS should be there as well.
I've played through Drake's Fortune over 20 times and I'm no where close to being bored of it.
But, they seemed to have improved on it in a lot of ares.
Resistance I still kind of liked but shooting just feels kind of,
childish, kind of like in Halo. I'm, just not a fan of shooting slow-moving, low damage, glowing things at each other.
The co-op in R2 is still unmatched though.
Can't wait.
Episode 1 was ok but episode 2 was amazing. Hopefully episode 3 answers all my question about the borealis. Who here is hoping to find the portal gun?
