Setting graphical quality to low usually means graphics of low quality doesn't it?
I haven't enjoyed a game like Uncharted ever. I must have played through well over 25 times now. I've played a lot of other games but this is the only game that I can honestly say is 100% perfect.
I hope I enjoy the sequel as much, and judging by the beta and review scores, I'll be enjoying it even more.
but.. but... you got bitten. How are you still alive?
The amazing graphical detail of the water and how the current and waves moved so realistically is unmatched by any other game.
I hadn't even heard of it until after I had my PS3 for about a year.
@ Hi def freak, I didnt have fun with any hack n' slash game before, and the God of War series was no exception, so GoWIII doesn;t interest me.
I'd put Crying Wolf from MGS4 first, then Sniper Wolf from MGS1 second.
I've yet to play a game with a co-op mode as half as fun as R2's. Left 4 Dead comes close but is still outshined.
The amazing enemy and weapon design also helped, as well as a terrific story, but the gunplay was a bit mediocre. Not Halo bad, but not Call of Duty good or Killzone 2 perfect.
This guy totally abuses his power to censor anything HE doesn't like.
He refuses to make an R18+ rating for his own selfish reasons. All the while spouting bullcrap such as "you get points for running over Hari-Krishnas in Grand Theft Auto."
We need to seriously do something to stop this moron,
We have an R18+ rating for movies but not for games. It's all Michael Atkinson's fault.
It's good when someone who plays games actually does the reviewing
The title should be: "Should you buy the sequel to the best game on PS3 which currently has an average rating of 97, or some gimmicky muck aound game that only a few people have heard of?"
That's the proper title.
As long as they keep vehicles out of multiplayer.
But then I'm not one for buttonmashers. I find the gameplay of games such as HS, God of War and Devil May Cry too repetitive to be fun.
But HS had amazing graphics and animation for its time.
The others are from a while back, and Batman is from a long time ago.
Anyway the best cgaracter is Drake, he acts so realistically and does what we would expect a real person to do.
not this again...
I think this is the third or fourth time.
This is the biggest flame war I have ever seen in the Gamer Zone.
Alan Wake looks cool but for 4 years of development I thought it would be on the level of Killzone 2 or at least Drake's Fortune. It seems interesting but unimpressive at the same time.
But was too short. Like Portal short. If I bought it for the singleplayer I would have been dissappointed, but multiplayer was great. Like Portal great.
IT WAS VERY EASY
I'm not saying that anyone can play through it on veteran witthout ever taking a hit or dying but what I mean is that aiming was very simple and guns were strong, meaning you can aim, fire and kill a target with ease.
As for the weapon strength, I think all games should be like this, games like Halo and Gears of War where some guns take 10 headshots (yes I am exaggurating) to kill an enemy just isn't right.
However as for the aiming I di...
But has anyone seen a worse website design than this?
But at least the game exceeded expectations and was absolutely fun and amazing. GTA IV however, was also overhyped, but wasn't that good, so left many disappointed.
