Have you tried to deselect 720p, so it forces the picture to 1080i?
As far as I know, the PS3 upscales the image this way.
Upscaling has been added to the PS3 so you shouldn't have this problem anymore.
I really HOPE that MGO will be a seperate game.
That would only mean that MGO will have more features, maps, etc. I hope they will release this title like they did with Warhawk. Downloadable form as well as in disc form.
MGS4 will have MGO starterpack.

I love single player MGS, but trust me on this, multiplayer MGS only adds to the MGS experience. I loved MGS3 online and can't wait for MGO2.
Don't forget Snake's insertion method for Operation Snake Eater in MGS3. Using the Drone, thought that was awesome as well.
And in MGS:PO, the opening movie where Snake gets tortured. Thought that one was strong as well, it brought me right back to MGS3.

These figures don't make any sense though.
Almost every 360 owner had a RRoD problem, and quite a few of them had it multiple times. I would have expected that the death toll would have been more than 3 million 360's (over 17.7 million sold).
Or am I missing something here? Maybe they are trying to say that currently there are 3 million 360's (16% of total) waiting to be repared?
PSP doenst need an HD screen. HD capability on a small screen like that is not necesary and won't see much of a difference between a 480p screen.
Having noted this, I hope PSP get a 720p HD screen though.
I saw a job advertisement by Sony (in Japan) posted in a forum, that they where hiring people for Backwards compatibility for the PS3.
I think they are working on software emulated BC for the PS3.
Once Naruto and Afro-Samurai hit, they'll get plenty of Western gamer lover (at least from my end), I hope they'll release these games soon though.
Article or not, I REALLY (!!!) hope Sony will release the Boomerang controller, even if the Boomerang won't be standard, and only available as accesory. I don't care!!! As long as they release the Boomerang controler!!!!
