I'm going to have to give you a bubble and agree with you for the most part. I'll be frank with you, I have yet to play the game myself and so I can't agree with you fully. Now I don't really know the full plot but all the stuff I did read would indicate that it is a plot that is a tad bit overused. A terrible game though? No. legendary? Not really.
I know someone must have seen some of my earlier bashing of FF13 and I might have been too hard on it. I usually try to be m...
@Brasi
Holy cow, they're gonna have to roll some of those kids outside with that much awesomeness! Good thing I own a wii (and am in fairly good shape).
@deadeye
No but the way kids play with toy guns, it could have been a possible spot if the gun fell out of the kid's hands and caused it to fire.
How stupid of me to think that people should a choice of the old or new look in one game.
@meepmoopmeep
Actually, it would seem that SE needs to invest their cash in better writers. You know, the one's that don't feel that every Role playing game plot needs to have everything including the kitchen sink.
@menoyou
Hey! That's insulting gay ass games everywhere.
@Millah
Tell me about it. But then again if you look really hard, the series was beginning to forget itself at about part 8 (actually it was getting partial a...
Pretty pictures+Lame writing=Pretty lame.
This is another in a long line of next gen FF sequels that seems to be so much in love with it's own legend, it forgot what it meant to be an RPG (well JRPG anyhow). Sooo linear, it may have well been turned into a movie and not a game. I'll someday give it a shot but for right now, no way.
The series needs a return to the feel of the old school classics and fast; like 4 or 6. All I have to say is thank god for re-releases.
Was it just me or did they play that totally for titillation. Portraying Aphrodite as a bi-slut purely for the sake of the game's audience? I only have one thing to say: Sony will make BILLONS!
I didn't have to read the article, everyone one of you pretty much gave me the rundown on the whole thing. And pretty much from what I see, it is flame bait alright; really badly written flame bait. I am a proud owner of a 360 for a few years now and still haven't had any of the problems that a lot of people have (RROD or that other error thing (you know, the video one). Would I write an article about it? Not really. I say, just buy and play the console that has the software that interes...
If they bring out resident evil 2 and 3; why not give the player the choice between the classic look and the newer over the shoulder look of 4/5.
Interesting, indeed. An ever expanding MMO title having more content then an out of the box game, "Stop the presses." Oh well, it's Bio-ware; I give them a pass when it comes to obvious statements. Only they better not let me down like a certain Online 'Trek.'
The pieces in this story do not fit one bit. Not one bit! Which means one thing: either mom or dad did the deed. That is the only thing it could be. Weak cover up story to say the least. Your going to tell me that the mom, who is in the room (and as far as the article goes, isn't blind) does nothing while a 3 year old picks up a loaded fun that looks nothing like a game controller. Sorry wasn't born yesterday. Also isn't it a bit odd where the bullet went, usually kids will point 'toy'...
Amazing life span for a console. I'll admit that when the system first came out, I wasn't too impressed. But looking back, they did an amazing job with the PS2. I'm proud to be a ps2 owner and I hope that this console gets a couple more years of games. I have had some of the best gaming experiences with it.
Here's a list of some of the games that I really loved:
- Final Fantasy XII
- Ar Tonelico
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- Disgaea (both 1 an...
Actually I think that HD versions of III, Vice City and SA would be a must sell for me. Upgraded visuals with that sense of fun that permeated from those titles would be great.
It might not be enough game, IMHO. As much as I love cutscenes, it is a bit overboard to have that many hours of movie and not as many hours of actual game. PS3 or 360 who cares, I'm pretty much staying away from this one, period.
I know, I'll pick up a lot of heat for what I'm saying but I just don't care.
I did not see this one coming; not this fast anyhow. I knew it would sell well but this fast. Amazing! Pretty good, I have to pick this one up sometime soon.
The next-box (that 720 thing is getting old) should take a few pages from the PS3 playbook. Even if it doesn't include blu-ray (but by this time the blu-ray would be the industry standard), it should have the ability to use any harddrive and a larger on demand library of games. I actually don't care too much about the whole wi-fi thing but it is a wonderful thing to have, so they should include it (yeah like that would happen).
On the other hand, keep the whole live thing.
Do I really care? Yes and no. While it would be nice to have a system that will last for more then a few more years; there is still a ton of games on the 360 that I haven't even played yet. And DVD is still a viable format. As for the whole Natal thing, I think I'll stay away. I'm just not interested in it... at all. For me the 360 is a regular controller console.
So I'm in the "don't care" category.
True but the only thing is that the game was on more then just the wii and so it isn't an exclusive game.
I just got the game yesterday and man it is one of the most hard core Castlevania games yet. I really love it a lot. definitely a 10 out of 10.
Everyone who is a die hard Castlevania fan needs to pick this title up right now. Don't wait! Well worth the 900 points ($9).
Note: One really glaring error in the review is the fact he does correctly identify the Japanese system as the PC engine but makes the error of saying it is called the Turbografx in Japan (it is th...
