"85% of all Wii owners will make do with 1 or 2 games, pushing it, maybe 3"
If you believe that, then you must also believe that the other 15% buy about 30 games a person, given that the most recent tie ratios put the system average at 7.7.

"and it's funny that the star wars trilogy game with darth vader can be made with Playstation Move.but be a whole lot better"
I don't know; you can't improve on perfection.
"And if you hated Samus' inner monologue...you must've hated Fusion."
To be fair, there were a couple times where Fusion's writing was so bad that it was physically painful.
"But how will the beings of the universe view our resolve? I doubt they will understand what we did... the danger we barely averted. They will hold tribunals and investigations. They will hold us responsible. Adam understood this, and he spoke to me in my a...
Hey, for once, the gaming press is having trouble walking in lockstep.
"ARS: Why is this a Metroid game?"
"GamesRadar: Metroid: Other M Is Starting to Feel Like a Team Ninja Game"
"1UP: Despite the Team Ninja Touch, Other M Is a True Metroid Game"
"Destructoid: Getting that Retro Feeling with Metroid: Other M"
You're right; I am being unfair to the character models of the PS1.

How can anyone possibly tell these apart?
I would recommend Star Successor at pretty much any price to anyone. Well, maybe not to people who don't like videogames/themselves.
"Most gamers will play it for 50 hours before beating it."
Maybe before putting it away forever; I cannot imagine it taking someone 50 hours to simply reach and defeat the end boss on any difficulty, especially the easiest. My first playthrough was on Normal with Isa and took me about eight hours straight throu...
Help! Help! I can't tell the difference!

Star Successor, Bayonetta, and I guess Galaxy and Starcraft 2.
All but two of the fights mentioned were awful bosses and the list itself fails the 'terrible website litmus test' by requiring me to click through ten pages to get information that could fit on one.
One of these days, I think I will start a blog and write an article of the top ten worst top ten lists. This one has a spot reserved.
By my count, Bamco has released ten games/versions in the West, three of which were translated only because other companies (Nintendo in two cases, Ubisoft in the other -- and only in Europe) provided funding/publishing.
This is in comparison to the twenty that they chose not to localize.
The idea that Bamco has any interest in the series in the West would be hilarious if the reality were not so depressing.
Not at all, considering that most games have terrible stories.
Excellent. I am going to celebrate this news by beating the original S&P again.
Or, CRAZY idea here, instead of this timed-exclusivity, is-there-going-to-be-DLC, artificial removal of features, let's-forego-all-the revenue from one title, mobilize the PR agents song-and-dance... EA could release Jam with all-modes for all three consoles at the same time.
I dunno, I haven't played it. And probably am not going to.
At least until EA releases it as DLC/the Wii version ends up in the bargain bins, anyway.
The reasoning by EA's PR robots is that the Wii version gets an additional singleplayer mode with '20 hours of gameplay' and I guess motion controls while the HD version gets online and Elite 11 for an extra tenner.
I think the robots must be malfunctioning or something.
This would certainly fit in with my current working theory that Tales is now going to be a franchise completely -- rather than mostly -- exclusive to Japan.
You may be right, Troof, but I think you and a few other people going on about sales are underestimating just how badly Nintendo got zapped by the exchange rate this quarter.
From their report: Non-operating expenses (foreign exchange losses)- 70,567 million yen.

That works out to about 816 million USD lost due entirely to the yen-euro-dollar conve...

Uhhhhh, what?

Well there's your problem.
