"is this thing on rails or what ?"
Yes. Most of the game plays like Space Harrier/Panzer Dragoon/Star Fox.
edit: beaten like a redheaded stepchild. curses.
"who is actually this senile to believe its going to happen?"
All the answer you need is in the url: 'psxextreme.com'.
"did he really just say that this looks like an n64 game!?"
Plays like an N64 game is more what it sounds like. Two-dimensional gameplay in three-dimensional environments, like Kirby 64, Nights Into Dreams, Klonoa, etc.
That's an easy one: because it's not [insert preferred Zelda title here].
"That's the point of this article. They've been working with the Wii since 2007 with mediocre results"
The article is silly, though. Overkill was successful, and even if it had not been, the point is moot anyway because the game was produced and published by Sega. Headstrong was paid for the all its work even if the game failed to sell a single copy.
Because they operate this way, the issue has nothing to do with how well their games hav...
"They even had the gold seal on nintendo games that guaranted you that the game you purchased wouldn't suck."
Yeah, because there were no games on the NES that sucked.
I think the AVGN would like to have a word with you.
"Sin & Punishment 2 - lol rail shooters"
That's crazy. You're crazy.
"Actually no release game especially the 2 and 4 player games needs a nav or DSC."
Are we actually saying that this is a good thing?
Sin and Punishment.
My only hope is that in seven years, Nintendo releases another Wii system (the Thrii?) and that it has a downloadable service that is backwards compatible to Wii games, which allows Star Successor to finally find the success it was denied when it was new and sells so well that Nintendo commissions Treasure to make Sin and Punishment 3.
Yeah, sure, and Sega does what Nintendon't. Blast processing will also ensure the victory of the Genesis.
It feels nice to be back in the late 80s.
All those games are counter-balanced by the half a dozen average-to-poor Sonic games and Tournament of Legends, though.
If Sega were at all interested in being a good publisher on the system, Wii would be getting a sequel to Overkill instead of another High Voltage Con-job.

smh
The correct answer is single-player campaigns with jumping puzzles.
Skyward Sword is certainly going to be an ambitious motion control experiment: a game built entirely around the mechanics with a prolonged development cycle by a major first-party team, several years of experience working with the technology, and an extensive budget. It will be intriguing to see how it eventually turns out.
For those who are playing at home, Oliver Comte, the guy who said this, is also the guy who said that piracy has destroyed the DS software market, that Bamco would become one of the top 5 publishers, that Ubisoft's DRM was a smart business decision, that 3D will be more of a revolution than motion controls, that either E3 or Gamescom would die out, and that Enslaved would be the next Gran Turismo.
Apparently, he wants to take a shot at Bobby Kottick's previously-un...
At least Bamco localized Muscle March.
Shame that Star Successor is not one of those ruling titles.
It means No More Heroes 2 is being released in Japan, and even though it seems that no one in Japan even likes the series, they get a special edition of the game along with a mountain of free stuff.

There are a number of retail stores that apparently have it in their systems for, if I recall correctly, September, but nothing has been confirmed.
On the other hand, releasing games outside of Japan is a smart move to make, which means Marvelous will find some way to avoid making it.
From more recent generations, I would probably submit God Hand, and to a lesser extent, Sin and Punishment 2 on Hard and Spelunky. Cave Story's one-hit-kill mode and I Wanna Be The Guy without checkpoints might qualify as well.
