Jason Momoa has been my #1 pick since they announced that Sony was planning a God of War movie. Are there better actors who can portray Kratos? Sure. But Momoa isn't a bad actor. Plus, he kinda looks like classic Kratos anyway.
Found a fan art of Momoa as Kratos: https://cdn.business2commun...

@DarkVoyager That's bull cuz Activision has at least 3 developers working on CoD at all times and each game is given at least 3 years of development time with each lead company using the exact same engine since CoD 2. I have a friend who is the lead QA guy at Raven Software and he says that they only work on CoD games, helping with the multiplayer stuff. So don't go spewing stuff about them "not having enough people needed". They are a multi- billion dollar company with seve...
@fox
But the thing is, Square usually cares about their AAA/big budget titles (key words being AAA and big budget). Just look at Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Tomb Raider, and Just Cause. Disregard the remakes, spin-offs, and mobile games. I'm talking about the games where they spend the most money and manpower on. They usually spend at minimum 4 years or something on a single game. That's more than most AAA companies like EA, Activision, and Ubisoft do. They do spend their ti...
Marvel used to license each property to a single company for extended time periods. They decided years ago that they were changing how they would license out their property for games. It's a case by case thing now. Hence why there are a bunch of mobile games made by different companies, Spider-Man done by Insomniac, and Square Enix doing a new Avengers game.
Game is pretty boring if you play by yourself but with a group of friends (or randoms who actually communicate) it's a ton of fun. My friends and I into the Kraken twice. First time we tried to battle it in a losing effort. Second time was when we were returning to an outpost. Saw the Kraken attacking another ship. We were trying to get to the outpost as fast as we could to turn in our treasure and then go back to help the other ship. Went to a raid and fought like an almost half an hour ...
Random. Some people got the full game, some didn't.
Been seeing a lot of positive reviews on Steam for this game.
Everyone and their mom is playing this game and here I am waiting on the PC version. *sigh*
Yeap. The game reminded me a lot of Marvel vs Capcom.
@Omar91
I don't think Arc System is handling the servers. Would be more of a Namco/Bandai thing.
The Marvel side was pretty much to promote the MCU more. The Capcom side? No idea. Stories of how bad development of the game was on top of too much control from Marvel, and less than a year of development on the game. Yeah, not surprised that the game was underwhelming.
Signed up the for the newsletter months ago and have not received a single email. After contacting support, they've enabled the option to allow me to receive the emails (at least that's what the rep told me). So hopefully I actually start getting them now.
@dlaw76 Yep, game is multiplatform. Harada chose U4 for this game and Tekken 7 because the engine was already built for multiplatform development. Plus, they have experience with the engine already and I don't think Namco-Bandai would fund for a proprietary engine anyway. Also, U4 is a pretty damn good engine anyway and affordable to most (if not all) devs, so why not use it?
That's one of the many things that bothered me about Unity. They're French. Why doesn't a single one of them speak with a French accent. And isn't Ubisoft a French company, (well, French-Canadian I believe) and isn't the CEO of Ubisoft French? Made no damn sense.
They already outlined it on reddit. Changes are going to be made in the Dec 12th update and future updates. I stopped playing weeks ago because end game (or lack thereof) is boring though I haven't done a Nightfall or Raid cuz solo queuing still takes forever (even though they "supposedly" added a new matchmaking system). Haven't purchased the expansions yet. Will probably wait a month or two to see how it turns out first to make a decision on if I want to buy them or not.
They're adding a new weapon tier called Masterworks where each weapon will have random stat rolls. They're Legendary gear with the aforementioned random stat rolls, They will feature a stat tracker, can be re-rolled for different stats, and generate orbs on multi-kills for you and teammates. When you dismantle them, you will get an item that allows you to convert normal Legendary weapons into Masterworks weapons. Doing Raids and Trials will give you a higher chance at getting a Master...
But aren't all of the Early Access/Beta games on PS4 free to play anyway?
Yeah, too bad team play isn't allowed in the mode though. It even states that team play is a bannable offense.
Konami has been making bank off of Pachinko machines. I don't think they care as much for video games anymore. Sure they will most likely milk Metal Gear dry and release the yearly PES and milk whatever other properties they own through mobile gaming like they've been doing for the past few years. But to expect Konami to develop any substantial game(s)? At the rate they've been going lately, not gonna happen.
